    Headset problems

I have a Logitech Headset that has been working fine for a couple of years, but tonight in an online class I was getting a message that my computer wasn't recognizing a USB device and I can no longer talk or hear out of it. Do you guys think this is a problem with my computer or with my headset? Any suggestions?

To narrow it down, it'd probably be best to try it in another computer first. If you can't, try other ports on that computer.

Don't have another computer to try at the moment, but I tried it on all the different ports on my computer and it didn't recognize it at all. To clarify a little bit, I was able to use it 10-20 minutes ago and then it stopped working all of a sudden and it kept popping up (10? times in a row all with a dinging sound) with a message saying there's a USB device not being recognized.

Hopefully, someone can give you a good solution, but I only have the typical things to try.

    1) Try it in another computer (which you said you can't atm)
    2) Restart the computer with it unplugged, let your OS load and plug it back in
    3) Uninstall the current drivers / download and install new drivers
    4) Try a different USB device in the ports to make sure they work
