There has to be a compelling in game item with this - remember how the talismans went way over $100 after market on eBay? And that thing was unwearable irl unless you like the goth thing idk....(no offense intended to anyone that wears it every day it's just not my thing).

This also - i would never wear. The only thing that's tempting is getting it engraved w/character name as a final "memento" since this time next year will be all about 14. (How much you want to guess they charge extra for the custom name engraving - it says "can be" not "will"). If they are including the custom engraving each time rather than just stamping them out that kinda sort explains the price....

But even so, I have 3 keychains, a card case, a small choco plush, all sitting in drawers somewhere from prior fanfests that I never look at so.........

I've always wondered what makes people feel stupid for wearing things like this. From my point of view it is no different than wearing a sports jersey when you don't play. You're a fan and that's something you want to show off. If you're ashamed that you play MMOs...that's a whole different problem.

It looks reasonable to be honest. I've been browsing trying to find similar pieces and silver tags about that size run from $50-$70 with very simple designs(engraving is extra). Some were even $120+ for more complex designs(which weren't very complex imo).

I may not know where to look though.

Yeah, quick Google search puts it pretty much in line with other licensed silver dog tag designs.


The catch is more whether or not it's actually made of silver, since you can also go buy military style dog tags made from less precious metals for under $10 >_>

I think the same number was on the rings.. My Sandy ring turned black and my windy ring looks awful. This was with maybe one days use. Other people reported the same thing was happening to their rings as well.

Are people that thick? That's a good sign, means your Silver is real.
You don't just throw away Silverware when they turn black.

Silver tarnishes due to oxidation. Simple fix is wiping with a special cleaning cloth, or a silver polish solution.

I wouldn't count on that. For one it would likely be made from the same materials as the Shadow Lord statue(so the price would be higher than this). For another...this shit will probably sell out regardless of how many people bitch about the price.
