I need to load up my iPod tonight when I get home from work. I have an 11 and 1/2 hour drive looming in front of me Saturday. I've now run into a wall and can't think of anything else that I don't already have. So start posting fuckers.

Start posting what you wanna listen to, fucker.
Motion City Soundtrack, My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, Kings of Leon are all good bands to have a good chilled listening session to. No idea what sort of music you are into, but have a listen to some tracks by those bands and see what you think![]()
If you want my suggestion, it would be to download some key essential mixes, such a Gui Boratto, Flying Lotus, Deadmau5, Justice, Hot Chip, Tiesto et al. They're each upwards of 2hrs, and easy to get a hold of, on sites like themixingbowl.org.
Muse.
Need for Speed Series OSTs
F-Zero OSTs
Hopefully this will encourage you to drive faster.
Anything and everything by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
Opeth. Long songs, long list of songs. They're also awesome.
If you really want to stay awake through the drive, though, I'd suggest a long mystery audiobook... or sci fi, something interesting enough to make you want to keep listening. I'd suggest some Harlen Coben books since my fiance does the long-drive thing and often buys his audiobooks. They're fairly cheap, too... if you're looking to buy (lawl).
If you need to stay awake, nothing beats Meshuggah.
Also if you're a sports person, you can download radio commentary of old classic games. I've found this to be pretty effective at making car rides go faster.
Download the entire Michael Jackson and Beatles catalog. That'll keep you busy for an entire day.
If you like Opeth, chances are you'll like Amorphis.
This isn't bentertainment geekly fucker.
Fucking post some fucking things you fucking like I can fucking come the fuck up with some fucking recommendations you fucking motherlover.

Highly recommend the last two. A lot of people seem to not have heard of 5FDP, which is odd, since they are pretty good, at least imo.
Oh and props on Shinedown. I saw them in concert last summer when they premiered a bunch of songs from The Sound of Madness. Singer sounds amazing live.
I have most of Rise Against's cd's. They are one of my favorite bands. And you can post R&B and rap. I listen to that as well. I have some Meth and Red on it already. Older Dre and Snoop. Some Biggie, Tupac, etc. So by all means throw it up there.
