How do you get your music for a mac?
Heya guys, is there any good way to get music for a mac? I usually use keepvid.com on my PC to get videos off youtube, wasn't sure if there was anything similar for a mac user?

VLC player will play flv files and has a mac version, you can download firefox for mac, and there's a greasemonkey script called youtube enhancer that gives you direct download links to the flv content.
Problem solved.

As mentioned, VLC will play FLVs, but I prefer a standalone extension called Flashgot. This will give you a link to the FLV file regardless of the site, as well as links to embedded MP3 files, and it can search it's way through pages and present you with a list of downloads based on links & embedded media. Altogether a great little add on :D

Thanks guys for the replies, really helpful.
No chance there are any third party programs that take directly from a website, not a Firefox addon?

Not quite sure of any standalones, I would say both the things already mentioned will do the job fine...
If you're looking for other sources of music on the mac then check out Spotify, it's basically a music steaming program which is free (10-15 second advertising every 5 songs ish) or £10/month for a premium account (no adverts, higher quality songs).
Personally I share an account with a few friends, works out really well for us so far, I don't think they've worked on multiple logins because we can all have it going at the same time.

There's a few websites that will convert files, zamzar.com is one I use a lot.
