The Office Season 6

It's finally back next week, and I've been waiting all summer for it. Apparently the wedding is supposed to occur within the first couple episodes, with it being an hour episode.
Here's the premiere's synopsis:

Gossip
As the summer interns prepare to depart, the office begins gossiping about them and Michael feels left out. As Michael searches for the next rumor to share, Andy struggles with heterosexuality.

I really hope that the revelation at the end of last season doesn't turn out to be a stupid plotline. Other shows have failed with the formula in the past, but I'm hoping that the writers for the Office will do it correctly without making the show contrived and feel like it's jumped the shark.

Doesn't make any sense though. That's like saying the same thing about Kevin not being successful with the ladies and having anal fissures. Whatever though. I'm dying to see the next episode. This show is such a classic, I've been living on reruns this past summer. I want more Creed. The guy is amazing when it's his turn. Always delivers.

I hope Pam isn't pregnant though. It would remind me too much of the British version which left a bad taste in my mouth how that turned out. I honestly think that helped in killing that show but that's another story.

Because Jim/Dwight/Oscar/Kevin or any combo of the above play a prank on him/question his masculinity for the previously mentioned reasons. And I don't get the previous about killing the british version? Ricky Gervais doesn't seem intent to drag out anything he does indefinitely so it was gonna be dead after 2 seasons anyways?

Keep in mind that he and Oscar bonded last season while they were in Toronto. Maybe he's consulting him about becoming gay due to his bad luck with women and realizing that he's just not into dudes.

Also wasn't it really obvious that Pam was pregnant as of the end of last season? Unless she has a miscarriage or something (which I wonder if that is what might actually happen so as not to disrupt the show's flow, unless season 6 is the last season), then a baby is coming.

I would think that he is still straight just that some passing comment from the people I mentioned whether intentional or not has left him with some doubts.

Yeah just the way its worded confused me. Typically "struggling with homosexuality" means a person who has been, or appeared straight, thinking they are or might be gay. So struggling with heterosexuality sounds like a gay guy thinking he might be straight, or something.

Perhaps Andy is digging around in Dwight's old things and finds the Gay-Dar and ends up being confused when it goes off!

I wouldn't worry. That was clearly the reaction of a couple who just found out that one of them has a badly sprained ankle. Going by Jim's kiss, I'm guessing anterior talofibular.

Also, I know that this is a better post if I don't point out that I'm making fun of you, but I fear that the subtle sarcasm in the preceding paragraph could be lost on you if I don't.

Andy's "struggle" with his heterosexuality is likely a question of whether or not he's straight/gay. As mentioned, inability to socialize with women, male a'cappella group, and the kicker (for me) was the incredible chemistry between himself and Oscar when they visited Canada (?) with Michael.
