We killed Isson (random level 34, 2 dot elite) in the lower part of Eltnen, his random white equipment drops NPC'd for 70k. I can imagine things being easier to deal with later on, but 100 mil is still a lot.

This. There are more than enough ways to make money, especially with brand new servers. Exploit the first month or two, itll be the best time to make quick money.

I almost garuntee you'll make more money farming water spirits in eltnen for the skillbook. In C-Aion they go for around 1m a pop, the level 37 wind spirit skillbook can hit 2-4m each as well.

In fact, everyone should farm the shit out of them, it's good money. Seriously. Start farming asap, kthanks.

All spirits have skills that hit like freight trains. Water ones are the worst though, and they're ranged to boot.

Stuns do wonders though, lulz.
Sides, by the time I get back to Elthen or the time I start farming stuff again I'll have enough skills to slam something down before it even gets the chance to hit me - I was killing lvl 33ish ranged mobs at 27 in Abyss, so I think I'd be fine.

Ranged mobs don't really matter as long as you save focused evasion for their "uber" move and keep them stunned.

Wind Spirits = Melee.
Water Spirits = Ranged.

They hit my decently geared chanter for around 175-230 a hit *auto attack* at level 27 (skills for 500+). Not saying it can't be done, but they do hit hard.


What no one picked up on is that yeah the books sell for a lot, but they have an absolutely abysmal drop rate. Like 1/500 bad. I ended up just shouting in /1 that I'd pay a mil for one. >.> (in case you missed it, I don't want to farm them myself :3)


So stupid that core skills (like pets) need to be farmed AND are stupid rare. I've yet to see 100% confirmation on which mobs even *drop* wind III, let alone how bad the droprate is (and people have been looking for a while now in C-Aion).



If anyone is still interested, they are in Eltnen @ the middle of the map. "The Mystic Spring of whatever" that has a small Lepharist (sp?) camp on the edge of it.
