The Frost Wind spirits and such were ripping me new ones when I had my gladiator in that area at 18ish. Freakin' 300-500 damage on their skills. I was contemplating trying some Wind Resist scrolls or whatever to see if that'd make them more manageable, but then I found the crabs near the sunken ship if I was desperate for some grind EXP in place of not finding a group to run through Krall.

I'd assume so, I haven't heard of any deadline on the pre-order/head-start, just wanna do it atleast a couple days in advance cause their website takes abit to get things registered it seems (considering I couldn't use the beta forums until the last 2 days of OBT, even though I registered my game account 2 weeks before the OBT)

Yeah regardless I will order it first thing I get my paycheck, I just really want that time during the preselection this Friday because it will be very hard to choose on my final character design, I want to kick back, smoke, and really think this through before my permanent character is out there. Also want to take the possible names I want to get first, gahh can't freaking wait.

Edit: Thanks for the tip Kurp, looks like I will be set. Now to add more possible names, I know a lot of people are hyped up for this game.

I purchased the digital version of the CE off of NCsoft's page and my code was applied and my account upgraded right away.

They have a "recreator" in the main cities that will let you modify your toon. I'm not sure if everything is available to change (including gender/voice) or if it's just looks. Was gonna pose that question on AS today.

There's a everything changer, and one that does all that plus a sex change. I don't quite remember but I believe they required different tickets.

Ya i ran into that NPC at the outer dock in Sanctum during OB. Was WTF the first time tho u need a coupon to actually change gender.

Yeah, the gender + appearance changer is at the outer dock. The appearance changer without changing sex is located in the shop that sells dyes, costumes, and whatnot near the crafting area.

Really? I did the digital version of CE upgrade but it told me I dont have a code to apply it to you. I was guessing I had to wait for the game code from my Gamestop box

You get the game code immediately with the digital version so you can upgrade it on the fly. With the box you need to wait until it gets delivered

That means you bought the normal game not collector so yes you should be fine for headstart

When my friend purchased it, it asked him if he wanted to apply serial and I said yes.. and it gives me an option to apply a serial code but for some reason the account details doesn't list your full serial, only the last 4 digits, goddamn.

So to use the CE upgrade do we have to use the code from the retail box first or can we just put the CE on it first? Or better yet, does it let you just "buy" a CE code without attaching it to anything? Cuz I'm bumming $10 off my dad for it this Friday, would really suck if it doesnt work just because I haven't got my retail reg key yet.

It just kind of lingers in your NCsoft usermenu under serial codes until you apply the actual game code. Then I figure you apply the CE code to the game code and get magic goodies \o/
