i'm actually talking about guys i dated before i got married, all of whom said at one point or another that they were ready and willing for that kind of commitment. surprise: they weren't. they all had "space" (read: commitment) issues at the end of the day, because young men are scared as fuck of having to give up any of their freedom and don't value emotional (or additional financial) support. the fact that you're seriously sitting here saying marriage isn't worth it because fucking the same chick is boring is indicative of everything i just said.

i'm married right now. it's work but ultimately it's worth it. if the sex gets boring, you switch that shit up. buy some toys, buy some lubes that make things feel different, buy some liberator furniture, go to town. there's really nothing that compares to sex with someone who actually knows what the fuck you like, knows how to do it, and can take cues from your body language to pace themselves. i don't miss fumbling awkwardly in the dark with dudes who didn't understand that you need lube for anal or the dick doesn't go in.
