to be honest i'd rather them do Better off Ted/Scrubs/Modern Family/that show they cancelled from 1-2 seasons ago with the guys planning to rob Keith Richards or something. (I remember Dr Bamba was on it)

Apparently it was canceled, according to Zach Braff's Twitter and Facebook

"Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that 'New Scrubs', 'Scrubs 2.0', 'Scrubs with new kids', 'Scrubbier', 'Scrubs without JD' is no more. It was worth a try, but alas… it didn't work. zb"

There's a rumor though that they're going to keep the name in the off-chance that nothing better comes up as a new pilot and the can put up a Season 10 instead.

Oh well. Season 9 has its funny moments, but it really should have just ended in season 8. =/

They really do seem to just be memory holing it away, which is probably for the best.

4 episodes in and it's certainly a lot better than season 9.

The lack of John C. McGinley hurts, but the show at least recaptures the feel of the original. The random appearances of various small characters is a nice touch, like Hooch somehow being allowed to work there again.

I just finished the entire season, kind of binged it last night on a whim, and I really enjoyed it

I laughed a lot, the new characters bring a lot of charm to the show, the writing very much feels like Scrubs, and I'm talking prime scrubs... all and all I'm really looking forward to more seasons and hope they keep going.
