Okay, so Sparrow breaks the fourth wall, Barbossa inexplicably joins the opposite side, and now we have a new badass villain.

I dunno... I kind of wish they would have just left the first one be and then followed Jack instead of dragging out the sequels and ruining more than half the cast.

That's weird, I really enjoyed the third movie, almost as much as the first, and way more than the second. o_O Surprised to see people hating on it so much.

First was the best, by far. Third was relatively good, I just hate hate hated the wedding scene lol, was totally unwarranted and cheesy. Rest of #3 was ok though.

That's exactly what I thought. Wtf I remember them keeping Will on-board in the 2nd movie, why couldn't they do the same for Elizabeth?

Also couldn't they just drag him around in a bucket full of water like they had Davey Jones do for the Parley thing?

I think it should have just ended with them disappearing together to be honest.

I just recently watched the 2nd and 3rd and I still have to say the guy who plays Davey Jones is awesome, I love the squid/crab/man thing and that automatically makes the 2nd movie the best for me, he does a really good job with the character.

I think people just watch it expecting the movie to be catered to them when.. it's disney and its demographic is everyone. If you watch them objectively you'll enjoy them because they're simply good movies!

Meh, it didn't ruin the entire movie for me like I said... but it definitely made it my least favourite of the series lol, that and some other cheese they put in but that's beside the point, my opinion :D. Black Pearl is a fantastic movie, and will remain one of my watches constantly~

1 > 2 > 3, imo. The plot just got retarded in the third one. Still a fun movie, just didn't live up to the first two.

I liked the first and second movies. I just thought the third movie was full of unnecessary plot cliches for the kiddies, like the scene where you can't understand a fucking word the 100000000 ft tall Calypso is saying or the wedding scene. That, and the fact that Will spent the entire second movie on the Flying Dutchman, and James spent the third movie on it, you'd think it'd be okay for Elizabeth to be on it.

It was just a retarded wrap-up for what could have been a good finish.

I'd imagine the only reason they were on it without any real problem is because Jones wasn't doing his duty. While it's a bit of a stretch to think going back and forth between the locker as someone who's still living has its consequences, I don't think it'd be smiled upon by whatever pantheon of whatever the fuck the universe uses.
