We are all doing exactly what Kanye wants, talk about him. As long as he is part of a discussion, whether it is praise or loathing, he is succeeding.

And honestly, whether or not you like him, hes one of the smartest guys in rap/music with few that compare. He approaches it as a business and knows what will sell. His songs are always on in the club. There is no denying that he is a ridiculous producer, college dropout and late registration are dope as hell and graduation is good as well, though marking his transition towards a more club oriented sound. And I personally love his flow and delivery.

Behind the circus that is Kanye West is actually a legit MC who is trolling the world on Cream Soda and chillin levels.

Didn't read this whole thread, but Muse was the best part of the VMA's.

This. However, as far as a Muse performance goes, it was OK at best.

I'm pissed at MTV though for two reasons. One, they had "more muse in 3 minutes" during the VMAs, which turned out to be 5 seconds of "Starlight". Two, I saw a video on mtv.com with Muse practicing "America" from West Side Story, WHERE WAS THIS?! I don't even think they played this at the rest of the concert (they actually played like 10-12 songs for the rest of the people there, MTV didn't show it).
