so good. the final fantasy: pray version is decent too, but this one's my favorite. everything from FFII is good though. one of the most underrated soundtracks of all-time (mostly because it didn't make it here until it was too late to be seen as anything more than a retro cash-in, I guess)

he really did some of his best work on the NES/SNES Final Fantasies. not that I don't like his PSX work but it's just not quite the same.

It's already been posted so I don't have to post it again but I LOVED FFIX's world map music. 70% of the games music was some type of Remix of Melodies of Life but it was brilliant.

I get nostalgic when listening to FFVIII's as well so I must list that as well.
