This. Also what's the deal with campaign gimps?
On one hand, they're gimp as fuck, but on the other, they're not in my party, and i could give a fuck if they want to use XYZ on their own solo because "the prefer how it looks" or whatever.

Aside from everything else horrid in this picture- why do so many people get things without looking up how to activate the latent? D:

In particular, with something as obvious as +30 HP, how does one fail to notice that one's HP NEVER increases by 30 when equipping it? I suspect I don't want to ask that question, as it might result in someone claiming it activates at low HP, at which point my copy of FFXI would just uninstall itself.

Can we outlaw campaign shots too? Personally, I care more about what I wear in town than in campaign...not to mention the fact that evasion is a valid stat for every job except like thf and nin in campaign, and it's just as valid to specifically take gear off so that you can take more damage, and then cure more.

Everything is what you think it is (crap). I think all the /c's made him feel self conscious and he switched to slightly less horrendous gear as shown on the second shot.

I don't want the beastmen to win, but every gimp we have in a campaign increases our chance to lose. Same reason you don't want gimps at your HNM, you don't wanna look at them, while they might be good for a laugh they'll probably end up wasting hours of your time and/or CFH-killing the thing so that no one benefits.

Just pull mobs far away and solo them. You get more EXP that way and it doesn't really matter is beastmen win or not. Problem is FFXI players are stupid as fuck and campaign is where you interact with them the most. It's probably one of the only events where you do something in mass quantity that doesn't require an LS. That's why everyone's gimp. And we fucking love it.
