Also, at the above bard, if hie party is shit then the tav ring is actually the right choice, as long as he uses it. But it could be he just doesn't have any ring swaps, and forgot tav ring was equipped, even then, fuck it's brd, as long as he's pulling ok and has instruments and ele staves, who cares what he wears
