Gimp/Confused/WTF Player XIV: Keep your town gear, we really use this stuff

Not defending her or anything but aside from v sallet, what's gonna be a signif improvement(emp hairpin imo isn't worth stopping lv'ing for). I always go w/ strange shit in slots that don't do well too, but not that far into the lv'ing. But ducal guard ring from 1-13 for example, lol.

Still gimp, but I always have fun at those lvs w/ my gear selections provided there isn't anything of significance that can go in that slot.

Empress Hairpin is extremely easy to get. How is +3 DEX/AGI not worth stopping leveling for on a piece that's relatively easy to get compared to a Voyager's Sallet? I can understand if she was a lower level, but 61? No excuse.

EDIT: Also, not that big of a deal but +10 evasion for soloing isn't bad either.

a majority dont bother to get the proper equipment/merits/learn any of their jobs properly.

A majority of players don't do this. Personally, I would say the percentage of maat's cap owners that gear/merit/know their jobs is right about the same as the percentage of total players that gear/merit/know their jobs.

You're basically just wrong here, sorry. I highly doubt it's worth 2 hours, and on average you most definitely won't have 1 after 2 hours. The 6-7 attack mask is definitely worth it, and I'd say it's gimp to not have 1, but hairpin is quite wasteful and in no way worth your time.

Well, I level fast, not sure about that person. I don't stop for AF either for example. By the time I could go camp a hairpin, I'd have lv'd 5-10 times depending on how many times it took. I lv'd pup to 75 in 3 weeks. Stopping to do all the af quests woulda made it longer lol

But anyways, I admit, its a bad example. Was thinking more in terms of mnk. Thf gets SA/TA bonuses from that dex/agi but all that hairpin to lets say a lower lv mnk is 1-2 acc. I'd rather just wear a pumpkin head and look cool, especially if your dex is even and you only get 1 acc.

Main point, most head choices suck at lower lvs

I've never had to much of a problem finding a party based on the zone im in. I don't think with as many warp items in the game now a days it would be a big problem farming while lfg.

however when 2 of the same jobs are LFG, i have to admit i'm biased on choosing the closest one

Game function, in the chat filters you can select "on" "off" or "hold". Select stuff you want in "hold" then if the log travels too fast whatever you picked to hold will be held in a split pane for a few secs.

I think Zero Serenity was pointing out the Dual Wield on Redingote, which should qualify as VERY CONFUSED. The fact it's in town should be irrelevant imo to the fact the guy willingly put DW on that.

I think you are confused. DW on Redingote is fine. DW + Fastcast together is just all around stupid, regardless which body is chosen.

Unless you're in a situation where you're capping haste, and I highly doubt a melee rdm will find themself there, I dont see how DW+3 > Haste+4
