It's my understanding that on mobs of around merit level, the bonus given to Y/G/K *does* make attack pretty useless. So I'm pretty sure Smilo+1 > Amemet+1 until I have some respected samurai come in and say I'm wrong.
And like I posted before on one of these threads, I think a lot of these people saying "full-timed" are just victims of BlinkMeNot settings.

Backpiece isn't wrong for Gekko, I use Forager's for Y/K and also for HNM levels mob on Gekko.
