If it is true, along with this article here:
Hinting At Western Release of Tales of Vesperia PS3 - tales of vesperia - Kotaku
Then I think Scamco Scamdai USA have been already working on it in the background since it's development (for PS3), which is good because it means it might get released not too far from the JP release.
2 RROD Xbox360 so I reduce my playtime for exclusivesWhy MW2 on PS3?
Zelda Spirit Tracks coming out in December 09 in the US, so I guess I can add that to my must pirate list.

Totally missed this game, coming out on September 29th... a turn-based RPG based on the Wizard of Oz, from the makers of Wild Arms (media vision) and published by XSeed, called The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road

Looks like a nifty Dragon Quest-style game, can't wait.

I really wish i had more money this year, but I fully intend to get all of these eventually:
DS:
M&L (got it)
Scribblenauts (got it)
Layton 2 (got it)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2
Nostalgia
Wii:
New Super Mario Bros Wii (maybe)
FFCC: Crystal Bearers (maybe)
Endless Ocean 2
No More Heroes 2 (day one!)
Murasama (can't afford it now)
Arc Rise Fantasia
Trauma Team (they might push it back though)
Tatsunoko vs Capcom (day one!)
360:
Dragon Age Origins
FF13 (maybe, I disliked 10 and 12)
Since there is no way I'll be able to afford all this in the next few months I'm probably going to buy most of them as they are discounted, pending pro-order bonuses, below average pricing and such. I'm probably missing a few titles also...ugh.
Demon's souls

Assassin's creed 2
Gran Turismo 5
God of war 3
Uncharted 2
White Knights
Renting
Dragon Age Origins
Mag - To see how I like it
Dragon Age Origins
Alpha Protocol
Wii
Spoiler: show
I always tend to buy very few games but overplay the hell out of them, so I've got very little planned. The only full game I know I'm getting this year is NS2 for PC, but I already preordered that so not sure if it counts. Next year SC2, and possibly L4D2 if it looks good enough and FF13 if it sparks enough of an interest.
I may have some other purchases I don't know about though, the one thing that gets me to break this habit is a good game getting a sick weekend deal on steam. But thats unpredictable
edit: Also, as you can tell, I'm pretty PC only here as I don't have any of the newest gen consoles. If I get one of them at some point, this is likely to change and I'm likely to be poorer![]()
Wii is dropping to $199.99 on 9/27, I'm so tempted to buy one and mod it.
Does modding your wii let you burn games to DVD and play those, or do you have to load them onto SD cards?
So far I'm just not sure if I'd like it or not. I may just not rent and wait for more reviews from peers before picking it up.
I would definitely recommend renting Demon's Souls if you're unsure, as I imagine the difficulty curve is going to be offputting for a lot of gamers in the US. But it's a great game!
Do you have any friends who imported you could borrow it from?
Nah I dont, I do have a couple friends picking it up however, so picking that one might be a bit easier, Im guessing you have it, how many hours of gameplay is the story mode and how is the combat, sadly the game doesnt have much coverage in the US and Ive seen like mebbe 10 minutes of combat. Personaly I love long RPG's and getting my monies worth.
It's a pretty long game, I still haven't finished it myself. The game itself isn't that big area-wise, and it's actually pretty linear, but you can replay boards/sections to grind for items/exp and there's some reason to come back to things later as well.
The combat is fun, but the difficulty is such that you need to quickly become a master of combat or else you'll never progress. Still, death is inevitable, unfortunately you lose your progress in that level but it does add quite a bit of length to the game as well.
Would probably just be smart to wait for christmas sales and pick up both for about the same price as one, like target last year and best buy had brand new titles for $37 each.
