Some of the people on this board that know I do prop work have seen my Daft Punk helmet build I've been working on since mid-April. I am now at the point where I need to hammer out the rest of the electronics.

To those interested, this is the project currently:

And here are the boards I've built (unfinished currently)

Essentially, what I'm looking for is someone who is very familiar with C programming and the Arduino microcontroller.

The breakdown of the system is this:
• 24 channels output, driven though three 74HC595 chips (details on that HERE)
• Five channel input - two potentiometers, one microphone, two switches
• Pots control the pattern select of the lights and the speed (sort of like my test script, HERE)
• Switch one controls on/off function
• Switch two controls switch between potentiometer select and microphone input
• Microphone input is translated into signal to mimic a faux VU meter

I now basic C programming, but my deadline on this project is coming up fast and I'd prefer to work with someone who already possesses this knowledge. In addition, issues with my gold platers have arisen and I need to concentrate on that. I also have my sad little 8 channel script I wrote if anyone is interested in springboarding off my prior work.

In return, I can offer payment in cash or a free Kraken Club replica to whomever assists. I will also post a link to your website/email address/portfolio on my blog when this project goes live. That might not sound like much, but typically my traffic spikes to 10K+ for 2-3 days after new projects are posted. It's nothing amazing, but I give credit where credit is due.

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS IF YOU'RE NOT UP TO THE TASK. I have an October 1st deadline on this, at which time I need to begin final assembly.

Thanks in advance.
