I'm digging this but it's the first album I've heard from Muse and I've noticed a few people have said its not their best. Which albums would BG recommend to someone who has just now "discovered" muse?

For overall Muse sound, I like Absolution. Really though, any of their CDs should be a decent listen if you like the Muse formula.

I like the Uprising song, sounds very rebellious (makes sense to use as the first single since Album is called "The Resistance" anyways). Sounds like a good Halloween song too (music video is good too). I don't usually listen to too much Rock, but Muse is one of my favorite alternative rock bands. I like their old song "New Born" cause I remember it from this:

Apparently someone can't make an honest opinion about a song without being flamed by the same people who stalk him all the time on the forums. I watched their performance at the VMAs, also rewatched it this past weekend cause I just got Versizon Fios so I was able to see it on Pallidia TV (was nice seeing the awards in HD). I saw their music video for it on MTV HD too, so all I gave was my honest opinion.

I recognized the lead singers voice, and said "Hey, it sounds familiar to a song that I've heard from a BG video clip." So then I looked up "Aspid Attack" on youtube, and found it, and one of the comments said "Muse New Born," (the commenter was referring to it being the song used in the video "Aspid Attack," so I had confirmed my assessment about the lead singer being the same for both songs, and concluded that I might even know some other songs by them, but I'm to lazy to find them. I actually took the time to watch the music video and a live performance of New Born, seems cool, (kinda evil looking with that weird looking little girl with some mark on her head).

If you have to come and flame me every time you see me make a post somewhere in the forums, then you obviously need to get a life.

I was somewhat disappointed. There's a few good songs, but overall? Uneven at best. And I like Muse, but it's a letdown after stuff like Absolution or the last album.
