That Rdm shit is why when I quit my static after restarting years ago, I had a 58 Rdm... after enough pestering like that, it ended up HPed to 37, fuck that job.

Fail for 3 reasons:
1) it took me 1776 days of playtime to get 100 gold (nearly 2 years on 98-100 alone, due to money issues)
2) goldsmithing is completely worthless with all the free jewlery from the expansions
3) I got 100 on a friggin' amood
Well if gold's worthless you wouldn't mind crafting me some celestial earrings huh?
About 2.3m to synth, NQ 1.8m HQ 10m, T1 synth. Not taking into account the rarity of star sapphires, yeah...
Profitable if you can eat the 500k+ losses, don't get unlucky on HQs, and can deal with the slow star sapphire rate. God forbid you break one of those synths, though.
To be fair, in the last couple years triumph rings and the like are actually decently profitable again (as platinum no longer costs an arm and a leg) but only T1 at 100+6, so I haven't had better than T0 on those until now.
Still, the fact is that at this point all 4 of my jewlery slots are filled with mission jewlery (brutal/ethereal/suppa/rajas/ulthalam's) on most of my jobs, not my own crafted rings, so meh.
Not that many crafts are much better or anything, but believe me...the amount of cash I put into goldsmashing over the years would have bought me about 1.25-1.5 relics if I'd saved it instead.
Has augmenting helped goldsmithing much at all? I'd have imagined rings and such would be prime candidates to get spammed. Or is it like Bonecraft on Valefor, where things initially became profitable again on NQ, only to sink to being a worse loss than before.
