Ok, this is clearly hypothetical, but with what you're saying, it damn well could happen. By your screenshot, you have somewhere around 752 and 1034 HP, probably the earlier area. If faf pops, you cast stun, and it double crits you for 400 each...you dead before you can even do anything.
