Even if you could gravity him Maat runs at enhanced movement speed. I borrowed some gaiters for my WHM mule's fight and the old fecker caught up to me in no time when first repose went resisted. I was a bit like "oshi" and went for plan B and did it old skool just taking a pounding and spamming cures instead of the "newer" repose method.

I would definetely keep my restoral item incase I managed to drop something really valuable, like Hachiryu haidate, Black Tathlum etc. soboro is easy enough to reobtain. Doubt I will ever need it because it's retarded to drop anything of real importance, most I dropped was 12 squid sushi once haha.

I got my PP arrow restored cause of lag in dyna, shot it again last weekend on kirin cause when you're dead after using a flashy shot US PP arrow sidewinder and he kills you, the macro command that removes the item doesn't work

definitely keep your restore. i got my account stolen, and restoring my character and its items counts as my "everyone gets 1" restore. with the massive, massive amount of hackings it's better to be safe.

My thoughts exactly. I've never tossed anything that I needed to keep but if I ever toss something like a ppa or even something buyable/smaller rare/ex things I'd save my restore. You never know..

I threw away a Sniper's ring back when they were 2mil a pop. I said fuck it, and didn't use my restore. 3 years later, I don't regret it. :/

I couldn't imagine being so sloppy with discarding items that I would need an item restore just in case I fucked up. Accidentally attacking with the few (3?) ammo items left in the game that have dmg/delay is another story. I was pulling with a chakram for 5 hrs straight, then immediately farmed on another job that equips Smart Bomb. Damn things should all have 999 delay if they are going to have a delay at all.

I can't imagine ever needing my restore for anything else, I'm certainly not dropping anything of my own volition. It was a judgment call, if I ever actually lost everything and couldn't get it back cause I used my restore, I'd suck it up and start from scratch, PP arrow would be the most difficult to reobtain (not counting not repeatable quests) because I hate xping or grinding CP

I one time restored an NQ Earth Staff when they were 50k because I was poor and thought it would take forever to get that back. I don't drop anything without staring at for an hour or so before hitting yes now. I'd be impressed if someone tops that <_<.
