Eh, it was just all I seriously knew growing up. Everyone in my family was nigger this, mexican that, like I've heard it all... The area I am in is seriously fucking backwoods, last of the true rednecks type shit. Actually it's a lot like spam but not funny cause it's on the really real. I say 17 or so years because I think it was around 16-17 that I started realizing my parents, while loving and great, were wrong about many things.

I would have been beaten and made the person in the family no one talked about had I even thought about dating someone not white.

College really did wonders for it though, that's definitley where I learned and grew the most and shed most of that shit. Getting head from black girls was also a turning point. I wont sit here and say it still doesn't affect me... but I'm hella, hella, hella better than I could have turned out.
