Sanctum's crafting area is a horrible clusterfuck of 1fps whenever i get near it, elt fort. is the worst for me, leveling 20-25 i could bearly go near the place.

I have a hard time wanting to do anything in this game. With all the lag in cities, warehouses, and such, and then all the god damn spam in chat channels, I can't focus on what I need to do.

Personally all i want to do is get to endgame and maybe level a few other characters while there are a fair ammount of people that can make grouping easier. stuff like crafting is just utterly pointless to me right now since i can bearly get anywhere near the trainers to do work orders.

I think it was shift+F12 that will stop all other PCs than the members in your group from loading on your screen. I'm not completely sure how it works though, was just told about it from someone in my legion.

It hides the players in sanctum, you still see the names but it lags a lot less. The time restriction on private stores is fucking asinine. That defeats the whole purpose of private stores. I can understand them wanting to relieve server queues, but they should just disable private shops all together.

That folks could indefinitely keep a store open with a 300,000 kinah piece of lesser flux just to keep from getting logged out was equally defeating the purpose of private stores in addition to exacerbating the login queue problem.

If folks can log in who aren't afk (ever wonder why it takes hours to join a group?) then that's a fair tradeoff for useless private stores. I'm willing to wait on a longer solution for private store usefulness.

like another server or two, or once people start getting to 50 the queues will definitely be less harsh (if they still exist)

something NCSoft is going to have to deal with pretty soon though

Do what I did:

Make a new tab in your chat box, turn on Legion/Private Tell/Exp/Say only. Fixes the chat spam.

I don't get any lag whatsoever in this game; I don't really know why people keep complaining about this, and my computer parts are at least a year old...

(4 GB RAM, 8800GTX, Quad Core, Win XP)

That's a very powerful rig still

but yeah even with 8x AA on there's no lag unless in town with a shitload of people afk'ing with stores.

The first thing I did when I started was split my chat windows into combat only and group/legion/whisper/general chat to filter out region shouts. That's all you have to do. Regional shout chat seems to be universally garbage in every MMO.

yeah they're down, just check that site if you ever need to know, seems it's just the NA servers that went down

Was on and then suddenly everything froze for like 3 minutes before getting kicked. So somethin' borked.
