We got way outleveled, Elyos have an easier time 1-25, then it evens out. Altgard and Morheim suck peen compared to Elyos equivalents - takes so long to travel in those zones.Siel's Asmo is losing bad, our side fails miserably. Bunch of fucking failures that never want to do jack shit when any Elyos are around.
Asmo needs to stop trying to PvP and just get caught up, we tried to siege a Fortress the other night and could hardly hit the guards, need more 35s and less 20 somethings.
I created another new character with a friend who just got the game, I am going to level with him until he feels comfortable with it, not that it's very hard to get the grasp of.
He wants to roll Elyos. /facepalm
I told him to at least roll Vaizel since most of you BG'rs have located there.
Character name I chose is:
Shikinami
I guess I will try out Gladiator, I was wanting a change of pace with Cleric but nah watching people die is funnier than trying to keep them alive.
Did my first fortress siege today expecting it to be freakin awesome. Well once everything started going I was unable to play. My FPS nosedived below 5 game got EXTREMELY choppy and it was just retarded.
Does anyone actually run their comp smoothly through these sieges?
shift+f12
we just pushed the asmos all the way to primus landing, lulz
Yeah, that was pathetic. Asmo tried once and then gave up.
What the fuck at how easy that offensive fortress siege we did though.
Gladiators feel lame at PvP. Can't dent things hard enough in bursts to down classes that can heal, sorcs can either keep you at a distance or just obliterate you before you can react, and I feel like I just tickle templars. And that's just in the very rare 1v1s I may get. Lost to a ranger after like a 5 minute skirmish just because he kept getting away from me. Imagine I could use a new weapon (32), but the ones on AH are far overpriced.
I've never lost to a glad 1v1, but the only times I've been killed by roaming gank groups were when I got hit with Aerial Lockdown.
1v1, I can take just about anything at this level. Ones giving me the most trouble are clerics. I HAVE to kill them in the middle of silence, stun, fear rotation or they get it all back, ugh.
As a 29 Assassin Clerics and Chanters are most fun for me to 1v1. Nothing beats perfectly timing your stuns when they think they're about to get their HP back.
Thanks for the Shift+f12 advice
I rarely, if ever, run into any fights 1v1 on this game so far. And if I run into a chanter, cleric or ranger, the fight will go on so long that it will eventually not be 1v1. I can win against a cleric and ranger though, as long as it stays 1vs1 just because I can heal myself through anything they can throw at me and because of my MP regen song, I can run a cleric out of their MP.
But I absolutely hate rangers... they can interrupt my heals with no problem, even though I am trying to put on alot of concentration. If I get in a 2vs1 and they have a ranger (which 90% of the time they do) I am done. No chance for me to win. Even reading this lvl 50 guide translated from Korean, for Chanters vs Rangers it says "only luck can guarantee a win" lol
Concentration doesn't work against stunning/rupture/silence arrows! I still find it hard to solo a healer if I don't get a ton of lucky crits, though.
lol those shots are just the start of it. I get interrupted from just normal auto-shot stuff -_- But normally when I fight a Ranger, its 2vs1, so I am just completely done when I get into situations like that. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I have ran into anyone solo.
if this was posted already, my bad.

So, how are you guys all liking Aion? I preordered but didn't buy it because strangely Fallen Earth has taken my fancy. Talk about a game that is about the opposite of Aion, but I find it fun. Aion has it way over Fallen Earth in character creation and probably the gameplay is easier to learn coming from FFXI but for some reason it just didn't grab me in closed and open beta.
Now my question is do you guys really like Aion or is it a placeholder for something else? Just wondering because I used to love to play ffxi and am now bored of it and looking for a new mmo.
Don't flame me plz, I am not trying to troll just really asking.
I'm also in the same boat, I preordered but ended up not buying. The major thing I dislike is how unimaginative the quests and missions are. I know lots of people hated CoP, but it was more challenging at least. At first, I did have fun in Aion, but upon realizing this failure, I think I'm going to wait for FFXIV and give that a chance.
