God I want to level faster but I have done 0 leveling in the past two days because I am getting really bored of chanter. I can't seem to find any good grind spots and I really don't feel like killing mobs for an hour for 1 bar. Its just getting frustrating but maybe I have just hit a boring patch of Chanter -_- I'm not getting any new abilities, every level has just been an upgrade of the shit I have already.

That's pretty much the exact reason I quit chanter, that and not being able to stop people from running. Once you start instance/eliet grinding it will get better.

Yeah I stopped even attempting to grind in the abyss because I cannot exp for five minutes without having to run away from a gank group. Also, I'm level 34.. isn't there a big jump from like only level 33 mobs and no inbetween up to level 38? I can't kill that high yet. I guess I just need to search around Beluslan more for a better grind spot.

Does the steel rake instance give decent exp?

It depends on which path you take and how many times you wipe. For the Manduri path i usually get 2-3 bars, for the Captain path I got over 5 bars last night. It's decent money too , ~150-200k each run again depending on path/soul heals.

2. During Pvp, when casting a skill on a player and they run out of range during the skill cast, the skill will still go off if the target is still within a certain distance from the caster.

Maybe I'll stand a slightly better chance against ranged attackers now.



As for EXPing, I guess if it's tiring, maybe focus on some other stuff for the timebeing. The quest updates for EXP payoff look pretty promising. Just hope we get this version sooner than later.

Out of curiosity, what level does Steel Rake cap out at? Or does it even since it's level 40? Would be nice if it didn't lock out, but I'm going to assume 49?

See this is what I don't get from a lot of the people on my server. You do know that ranks determine the amount of abyss points you get from a kill right? I'm not sure if level does as well. So if you're rank 3 riding around ganking 40's that are rank 8, you're better off just farming some Balaur for AP.

Ive found the Balaur actually give more xp then the undead even at lvl 34. I've only encountered a few gank squads there and only during prime time.

I ended up making a Asmo on Triniel. Currently level 8 mage. Although not sure what job I want to go as once I hit 10. I'm leaning towards SM since my Elyos is Sorc.

the island with balaur is usually ok, any elyos that come over are summarily ganked

Apparently if you get blocked by xx amount of people in general channels you get put on a hotlist and might get suspended/banned without human interaction looking at it.

You should get unbanned, check your NCsoft account on the website it might have some more info if its card related etc.

So, is anyone else getting like pretty much no competition on fortresses? Asmos are seriously fucking pathetic on Vaizel. Couldn't take W siel with all of their people there despite the door being broken and having 30min left.
In fact, they haven't taken ANYTHING. The fucking Balaur took something back before they did. It's kinda getting lame now :/

Even though I did a fort run on Kaisinel, at 36 I was both getting my ass handed to me and feeling like I was doing very little damage overall. I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if some people would rather get to 50 first before turning focus to the territory game.

It's happening to a lot of ppl & I'd suggest to avoid general channels, outside if looking for an instance or more ppl for something, like the plague. Because u have a good chance of getting screwed & banned for doing nothing wrong if ppl r just on a blist streak. I dunno what NCsoft is thinking w/this maneuver, shows how incompetitant they rly r
