I made an Asmo over on Triniel out of boredom and not feeling like grinding 20m exp at 4am this morning and noticed that even there, at least asmos have 2 forts and elyos have one, so theres some competition. I guess Asmos on Vaizel just suck.

Popping all the artifacts then assaulting us in the Sulfur boss room while we fight the boss, yet still being unable to impede our progress, is the definition of "suck".

Pretty sure I've never seen an asmo stand and fight without overwhelming numbers or guards... or both. Wonder why they always take artifacts in the middle of the night? For more guards to hide behind, duh.

MMO's are not desgined to suck your life away, kill your social life and make you fat, but that is exactly what they are doing by forcing people to play 10-12 hours a day because the game is so level oriented.. Think about it i did... There should be a restriction on how many hours a day you can play like say 4-5 max, that way everyone can be equal and pretty much have a fair chance to play, and MMO should not reward no life losers who play all day to level fast.. Furthermore if that restriction doesnt work then charge PER-HOUR so people will have to think twice if they keep playing 10 hours a day if they can afford it sure, but dont charge per MONTH..

So, is anyone else getting like pretty much no competition on fortresses? Asmos are seriously fucking pathetic on Vaizel. Couldn't take W siel with all of their people there despite the door being broken and having 30min left.
In fact, they haven't taken ANYTHING. The fucking Balaur took something back before they did. It's kinda getting lame now :/

Seems like on our server, once a faction has a fortress, they have it forevers (unless balaur step in). Every single defense or assault on a fortress already owned, no one shows up. No elyos attack the ones we own, no Asmo attack the one the Elyos own. Yesterday we did the western and eastern fortress instances and both of them went vulnerable at the same time while we were inside the last instance. We get out expecting some battle in the fortress but after flying around to both, there was 0 Elyos.

My server is just as fuckign fail.
Elyos took siel west, asmo took siel east, last weekend - since then there have been no fort attacks/defends worthy of note.

I'm guildless atm but looking but frankly the level of organisation in any of the legions is blah.

Everyone seems to be on the "get to 50 then do shit" train which is pretty pathetic.

The game is still in infancy for the majority of folks playing right now. Do you seriously expect them to think much about endgame when they really haven't met endgame level? Do you expect there to be hardcore, super organized legions out there currently? There are plenty of perks to being 50 for one thing and that's the immediate and logical goal. Most people are still in the Lv20-30 range unless you spend way more time than is healthy playing the game.

Give it time. You can't expect there to be hardcore attacks/defending as it is established in games like WoW. In due time, you'll have all you are asking for...just don't expect Lv30s to be sitting around defending/attacking this fortress or whatnot when the main goal of every MMO is to hit max level then immerse in endgame-like events. Sheesh. Being on the "get to level 50 train" is far from pathetic. It's a process. Let it take its course as it should.

This is the problem I have with the playerbase. They all cry that WoW is 500x better than Aion without realizes WoW has been out for 5 years and Aion has been out for a week (in NA)

I am probably going to take a server shift once they are available. Siel is one of the most fucking horribly overcrowded servers with a player base that consists of 1/10 Asmo's being actually useful, smart, and not fucking lazy. It really annoys me how little people are willing to work together on this server, they would rather keep doing their insignificant bullshit than help kill Elyos that will kill them too eventually. Also my Legion ONLY consists of members I know from real life, which is why we are very small, funny though how much we have pissed off some certain Elyos from some of the top legions, plenty of damn times.

Also I doubt they will allow transfers off Siel, it's not overcrowded. All the east coast servers have more population, and some have large queues.

I think the best part about Siel is how both times the Asmodians were going to capture a fortress (because Benny Lava was too lazy to pile all their lumberjacks into the fortress to defend, I guess), a Dredgion showed up.

Israphel here, we took over all 3 fortresses (Elyos) and the asmos tried about 3 times to take them back, sadly it was such a failure it was almost to the point where I'm actually starting to feel bad. Well its nice to be doing the fortress instances and getting my 12k kinah every 12 hours.

Right but zerging at 40 and zerging at 50 isn't gonna make much a difference, there's absolutely zero organization on their side so far from what I've noticed.

I'm mostly implying to me and my group of real life friends, we all have our shit down. We almost ALWAYS take out any Elyos that go after us, even those of higher levels at sometimes. Once we expand a bit more, we will probably be taking fortresses by our damn selves.
