Yes, I created an account just to post this >:U

I haven't been big on dynamis in a while. Don't really need any relic gear and haven't found a shell that lets me sponsor runs yet so I've been content with other end game activities.

I saw Billydakid shouting one day for a new dynamis shell (I know, joining a new shell can be bad news) that had decent drops rules so I'd figure I'd give it a shot.

Rules in a nutshell were you could pick two jobs for relic gear to loot on in a zone as long as they were 70+ and all coins would be split at end of month based on attendance less the cost of the glass. Seemed reasonable enough, even if they couldn't win a single zone could still walk away with some gil at end of month.

First month goes ok and we get coin splits w/o issue.

After second month though Billy disappeared. By my count we had nearly 10 million in bank at quick coin sale price on our server (not a lot but it was a small shell ;o ). I gave him the benefit of the doubt and kept coming to runs for a couple weeks figuring split was coming (people have RL issues sometimes w/e).

Come to find out a couple weeks later from billy's friends that he is on hiatus playing WoW. Wouldn't be an issue except he left with LS bank

I'm not sure what to make of this.. intent to scam at worse (maybe)... bad leadership and no consideration for others in the shell (more likely). Either way if you see this guy pop up be wary.

To jump in front of people who say its my fault for joining a new shell, I know, just thought a shell with decent loot rules would change my view of dynamis. Lesson learned.

As a general rule I just don't trust anyone on Siren until they've proven themselves to me in some meaningful (on the internet lulz) way. But yes, also not trusting people with retarded names is a good rule to follow. This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. If you haven't noticed, the majority of people do not feel the need to be considerate on the interwebs.

And this is why I instantly have high respect for you lol. Finally, someone gets it! Except sweety I learned its not just Siren. Its every server that is pumped full of people you cant trust. Though, Siren did have the most e-peenage that I saw...or wanna be e-peens.

Didn't Billydakid have problems before iirc around 07 before I left I saw some Dramallama shouting in Whitegate. Who knows that was years ago :'( Oh well once a douche always a douche I guess. Most dynamis leaders seem to be greedy at some point.

Right because nobody has ever made a guildportal linkshell then scammed people.

Obviously it wasn't a great idea to do this, but it really wasn't too bad of an idea to run with this guy, for this reason. Unless Billydakid was running with Ocean's 11, with a supreme mastermind plan, then he only stole for himself. If he's the one who did it, then he should have ~20 people pissed at him(however big the shell was). If he did that just to bank 10 mil, that's not going to get him very far at all. All it cost you was maybe a few hours, and the promise of some stuffs.

Even if this was planned out by every single member except you, and they Punk'd you...all they got was 10 mil divided by. So, sure you could've been completely paranoid and stayed in Whitegate all day where it's safe, but you didn't really lose out on too much, and now Siren knows(again?) to put this dude on the poo list.
