I was up at UNT for a year. Hated that place man. Was boring. So many commuters. I transferred to UT Austin and loved it there primarily because of the city. Also A&M crowds are the shit, they got their shit down and are loud as hell.

Yeah I was an art/music major. Girls were fine down there. But most went home back to Dallas and other surrounding areas on the weekends .

Loudest pro game I've ever been to was Dallas Stars games in old Reunion Arena during the Stanley Cup run in 1999 and when we lost the Cup in 2000. Everyone was basically on top of the rink with how the stadium was built, sound bounced off the walls, and everyone was loud as hell.

Then they moved to the American Airlines center, spread shit out and the place is about half as loud now. Still though, Mavs and Stars games are far louder than Cowboy games IMO.

Loudest college game I was ever at was ND/USC at ND in 2005. That was back when I worked for the team, so I was on the sidelines. My ears were ringing the whole time and well after the game. Unfortunately though, you could hear a pin drop when Bush shoved Leinart's ballroom dancing 101 ass in the endzone.

Aggie games are amazing as far as the crowd goes. Everyone is screaming their asses off and following the yell leaders. I mean, when you are able to literally make your own stadium sway during the fight song, that is fucking impressive.

College stadiums are generally much much larger than NFL stadiums as far as capacity goes. And as far as college stadiums are concerned, Tennessee is the coup de gras of college stadiums.

Anyway, as far as NFL stadiums are concerned, the old Indi stadium was nuts...however, beings as this hasn't been mentioned and it's probably in the top 3...Arrowhead pond. A lot of it is by design. It's one of the last stadiums where the fans are practically on the field.

Eh, according to wiki they added some club seats or some shit and brought the capacity down. The Neyland record is 109,xxx. They also average over 105,000 fans. I guess capacity is a fluid number.
