Delhomme will have a nice matchup against Atlanta on Sunday, a team that he averaged 294.5 yards per game against last season.
In those two games, Delhomme had QB ratings of 124.8 and 96.7, while throwing three touchdown passes and going without an interception. There is some instability in the Atlanta secondary right now, particularly at cornerback, so owners in deeper leagues faced with the likely absence of Donovan McNabb (ribs, doubtful) may want to consider rolling with Delhomme on Sunday and hoping that he rebounds to save his starting job.

I would base a successful Clutch performance on the fact that , Panthers fans will be stuck with him till he retires.

I figure if he sucks this game, he's losing the starting job. I'd wager he explodes Sunday, has a mediocre game the following week, Week 3 back to the 3/4/5 Int Clutch we all know and love. Then he will begin the cycle again.

Only time the cycle is broken is if Carolina makes the playoffs. Then he automatically reverts to 4 Int Minimum regardless of the previous game.
