Hey Miz
I still miss him
This is a bigger win for TO than it is for the NYG
90.9 rating after two weeks seems pretty nice, though I can't complain about Cutler last night.
And Hunter Hillenmeyer stepped up big, I don't think anyone really gave him enough credit after Urlacher went out...the guy's started 50some games, I think we'll be fine on defense if our secondary stops sucking.
TO is a god
Agreed on both accounts. Hillenmeyer is good and never ever gets credit for anything. I mean I knew when Urlacher when down that they would have someone to step in without as huge a drop off as one would expect.
It was a good win but it would have been sweeter had Orton done it. Knowshon sucks so he has no run game to work with in Denver either or he'd be booking tickets to Honolulu in week 2.
Saints are looking pretty ridiculous so far. I wouldn't be surprised if they took the NFC this year.
Besides Bress and a solid set of WRs, they'll have a triple threat in the backfield once Thomas is healthy between him, Bell, and Bush.
As long as they can stay somewhat healthy and their def steps it up a little, they should win the NFC South np. ATL is their only real competition.
I wouldn't be surprised if Brees threw for another 5k yards.
Oh, and Tyche. I'm going to be a Dol-fan tonight. Buddy that took a trip to Vegas is putting $100 on them for me and friend here that split $50/50.
Yeah, it'd be just short of a miracle if they pulled it off. But it'd be a nice payout if they did and it makes it a lot more entertaining to watch, lol. Not to mention the money is coming out of my poker winnings from this weekend, so it's not really going to cost me anything.
Plus I love rooting for underdogs.
Isn't this the point where I, as a Cowboys fan, come up with some retarded argument that Romo is a god among men and he and Roy Williams will walk on water while Marion Barber trucks everyone on the ground?
Yeah...totally can't even come close to doing that right now.
Heard something great on the radio this morning. Guy emailed the morning show and said this: "Thanks to the new Stadium being called the Death Star and all the jokes about Jerry I can't help but see Tony Romo as a fallen Jedi to the Dark Side. Not only that, the only way the Cowboys will ever win again is for Romo to pick up Jerry from his Evil Emperor suite and throw him through the star at midfield, sending him to his death right in the middle of his own creation."
He didn't mention anything about Wade, but I vote him in as an Ewok, only far less intelligent.
The Bears' schedule looks a little rough at times, but I do gotta say that I'm glad NO isn't on it, lol.
Well Stiker, at least you guys have an easy win at home and on MNF next week.
<--- Picked the Saints to go to the superbowl
I am kind of regretting picking Brady up in two leagues before Brees. Maybe it's just some rust and he'll shake it off. He's been scrambling when he used to step into a collapsing pocket.
You should be fine with the bet too. As aI said in the OP, historically, home dogs in primetime games have done well ATS.
Bills play the Saints this upcoming week. Not looking forward to this at all. The Bills pass defense is pretty bad this season. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
