How long is the temp ban for? If it's only for 1/4 redemptions, than it's worth it lol. I mean really there's no other way to do it an honestly hope to get an item. They're gone 10 sec after electronics is updated, 30 sec if you're lucky enough to have the item open at the right time.

Using firefox definatley seems to help. I was getting in way easier with it than with IE.
