Yeah, the more I think about it, it most likely will be Noah. They seem to really want Claire to mature from highschool into a college girl and push her towards coming to terms with what she is, and a big step for her would be to lose her dad in the process. Losing Noah would either push her to mature from it in the end, or make her a little revenge-seeking cunt similar to what she was in the future when she killed Peter.

Pretty good episode overall. See ya Winston, I guess. Oh JOY at another kinda Claire centered episode next week that looks like a shitty Saw ripoff. They need to get rid of her and all her boring college shit and concentrate on the other chars. I like Emma more than Claire, and she's only been in a few episodes.

It's funny how they pretty much reiterated how stupid the writers were last season when Noah, Claire and Peter were spit balling giving Claire's blood to Hiro.

I read the justification for not using Claire's blood was that the tumor was "living tissue" and would therefore grow in response. Is that accurate? If so, shouldn't Claire have grown enormous fucking tumors after being exposed to Ted's radiation in S1?

Personally, I'm glad they acknowledged Claire's magic blood, since it has been a major plothole as to why they haven't used it since reviving Noah. At least this time they gave a "valid" reason as to why they weren't using it and didn't just expect us to forget about it... again.

What better person to try and talk to Emma about abilities being a good thing than Hiro. Say what you want about his increased portrayal as a man-child, but Hiro has always been one of the few characters that hasnt looked at his ability as either a) a curse or b) a way to do whatever he wants. I like the idea of him showing her that abilities arent to be feared while paying homage to what hes learned from the people in his past.

I for one cant wait to see Charlie again. She was very cute and bubbly. Still bet that if Hiro saves her from Sylar in the past, shes still gonna die from the brain clot she had already.

Finally caught up to all the episodes, and am impressed the season hasn't sucked so far. Even Hiro's stuff (outside of Groundhog day /wrists) has been enjoyable and I enjoy the magic trick stuff last episode where he was teaching Emma about her powers. And I know it's been said, but about time they caught up w/the plot holes and mentioned using Claire's blood to heal Hiro.
I guess you could of seen it coming, but the part where Peter stops time but realized he was alrdy shot was pretty well done and kinda an oh crap moment for me.
I just don't get why whatshisface wants to bring back the old Sylar... it will be like Sylar at a carnival once he gets his memories back... oh wai

I will say... when Hiro was doing that magic trick with Emma, I was thinking to myself "Say hi to the Irish chick for me". Then he didn't actually try to teleport her anywhere and I was sorely disappointed

Been following but not religiously enough to remember every detail, but wouldn't Hiro going back to save Charlie kinda fuck up a lot of stuff in the timelines... I'd love to see her back, but didn't her death trigger a bunch of shit?

Some kind of photographic memory iirc, which Sylar promptly utilized by reading a book. Though I'm pretty sure that part only happened in the online graphic novels.

Wasn't she the reason Hiro manned up? Hiro can effect his own timeline by changing stuff directly relative to him, so If he died after that event on the new timeline would he start fading out and cease to exist? >.>a Would he still be the same and not remember anything that's happen to him since the time that he fixed the event...? >.>a

She could recall anything she saw with extreme accuracy. Sylar killed her and Hiro tried to go back to the previous day to save her but ended up going back six months if I remember, and he worked at the dinner with her and wanted her to go back with him to Japan. She told him she loved him, they were about to kiss and he disappeared back to the present and she ended up being killed by Sylar anyways.

Don't worry. This is Heroes. The writers don't care about little things like continuity.

It seems that time travelers in Heroes are outside of their own time lines. After they change something in the past and go back to the present, they retain all of their knowledge from the previous reality. As such, even if they did something in the past that ended up getting them killed before the present, they wouldn't sudden phase out of existence 'Back to the Future' style. They would just return to a present where everyone thought they were dead. (presumably)

Citation: When Hiro prevented Ando's Slushie incident, he didn't magically gain knowledge of their engagement upon his return. He still had the memories of his previous self rather than that of what he WOULD have had. It's like the time-traveler replaces the self that would have been, for better or for worse...
