Heroes - Season 4

Mikah was tolerable in season 1, but in season 3 I wanted to punch him out. He should have stayed a little kid forever.

EDIT: Didn't like him in season 2, but as my initial post suggested by completely forgetting he was in season 2, season 2 has kind of been written out of my mind.

Wow, and here I thought no one could stomach Mikah, holy shit.

Micah didn't bother me in season 3 because he only showed up for 2-ish episodes, I think. Like many of Heroes' characters, they are good for about two episodes before they become trite and boring. Maya and her brother, Monica, Molly, Doyle, and others are all characters that are good for short stints or to show up once a year. It's when they try to make these relatively one dimensional characters into show focuses that they become tired and trite, in my opinion.

Mohinder is, in my opinion, the biggest example of this. He was interesting in Season One, but he hasn't been relevant since. Had they written him out of the main storyline after Season One rather than try and shoe horn him into absurd plots (i.e. Mohinderfly), and then left him as a research background character who showed up once or twice a volume, he would have stayed much more interesting. More importantly, I wouldn't cringe every time I see him in the previews for next week.

Plot-wise, I think Hiro would be more effective in a similar role, showing up every once in a while to do something monumental. As it is, he's continually thrust into situations which are designed to limit his powers (i.e. brain tumor, mind becomes that of a child, can only speak in geek colloqualisms, etc.). Although the character is funny and fun, his powers are so over the top godlike that his continued presence makes the show a little bit like a game of "Why doesn't he just do X and solve everything?" "Oh, because artificial reason Y is limiting him." At least what Samuel did to Charlie is something that's an actual foil rather than a contrived one. Still, as much as I enjoy Hiro from time to time, I think the show would be more palatable (plot-wise) without him as a main character.

Really? Can't wait? :-/ I can. I hate when they do shit like this.. even if it is a dream or something. I hope it isn't entirely focused on that one story line.

As for today's episode? Much better than last weeks double feature. I actually laughed a little at our lovable little Hiro and his silly antics.

But one thing got me confused..

When Angela walks in on deaf girl and Peter.. didn't Peter get "siren'd" into that apartment? If so then how did Angela know they were there unless I missed a phone call or deaf girl was at Peter's house. Someone explain? Probably just missed it. >_> I mean it's not like Heroes has, God forbid, little plot holes.

How did Hiro know where Noah's new apartment is at the end of the episode? I don't recall Hiro, Ando, or Suresh ever being there.

It was an alright episode. Hiro's normal BS actually made me laugh a time or two that episode, and Ando's "It's like swimming but inside out!!!" was pretty funny too.

episode was pretty bad imo, but the Hiro segments were actually entertaining and I rly liked how the episode ended w/ them crashing on Noah's romance. Next week's episode looks like total trash... just like the show to save the last 2-3 episodes for some type of conclusion lol

It's all in his subconscious. He is going to have to deal with all of his personal issues of using time travel, hence the trial going on in his head. He will come out of it probably thinking the brain tumor was his punishment for using his abilities incorrectly and will be a changed person dedicated to use his powers properly. Only 4 more episodes left and hopefully this pushes Hiro to become badass hiro from the future.
