Heroes - Season 4

Although I'm not going to pretend I know anything about Magneto or X-Men, I have a feeling that's how it'll end up too, based on what has been said about it. I still have hope that the writers will be able to tie everything together nicely and shock us, though it's definitely not happening within an hour in a few days.

I sincerely think what Samuel is doing is going to cause the future we saw (or a similar future, anyway) with Claire being a badass agent and Nathan being president and people with abilities being seen as terrorists. Obviously without Nathan lol.

Even if I've had a big problem with the continuity and consistency with the writing since pretty much season 2, I've been able to look past it because I'm still genuinely entertained. May be naive to think it's going to be epic in the end, probably very naive.

People were guessing at the Asteroid M thing but with one episode left there's no way they could pull it off.

The finale seems like it will be pretty low key.

Samuel using Doyle to make Emma play in the house of mirrors to try to kill people in Central Park

Peter and Sylar stopping Doyle and possibly Samuel.

Claire jumping off the ferris wheel or some shit on live tv to expose 'specials' etc.

That's all stuff I got out of the previews. It seems like another pretty crappy one.

God, I want to like this show, I really do, but they keep writing themselves into a wall, and keep leaving plot holes all over the place. Seriously? they still pay people to write this?

I think the only reason I still bother is because the premise to this show is something I once thought would be cool; a show about people with powers who didn't know it, in a real world setting. A mix between reality t.v. and x-men, without all the over the top nonsense. Too bad the fecking failed at it...

The "hero symbol" was sort of written out of the show for the time being. It was going to be explained why it was, what it was, etc. in Heroes: Origins, which was prevented due to the writer's strike.

Eclipses don't happen so often? I dunno, not a cosmologist. I think it would end up receiving a lot of negative feedback as well if it were a reoccurring thing, since it pretty much just sets up the episode of its duration for "OMG WHO CAN WE GET RID OF WHILE THEY DONT HAVE THEIR POWERS!!1!121!11!!" a la Sylar vs. Noah and a box cutter.

Given the name of the new chapter.. it sure makes for a good "Finale" name.. because I hope to God this next season is the last new season, as I can't bare to torture myself much more.

Ok, for all the effin build up, Samuel's ending was failurific. Like seriously, the battle between him and Peter was retarded, and ends with him being taken away in handcuffs? Seriously? That's the best that could be done with him?!

I blame this on Samuel having a very boring ability. Wish Parkman died, and I wish Tracy would just freeze in the artic or something.

The only good thing I liked about that episode was Hiro's arc coming to a conclusion. Even though that shit was predicted pages ago, it was still a neat ending to his ordeal. His arcs always seemed to be the most enjoyable, even if they are filled with more holes then a block of swiss cheese.

Volume six opened up nicely imo.

Finally now we can get to the future from season 1 where everyone knows about the specials/heroes/emobitches, where things we're actually cool.

However, I still hope the next season is the last.

I thought the Hiro arc this whole season was stupid regardless. He unlearned everything he learned about time travel and just went back to being an overpowered guy who can change anything at anytime, he's still not very close to becoming badsass-Hiro.

This new season has potential...
Just like Villains, Fugitives, and Redemption had potential.

Also, Samuel having no power when specials aren't near him aren't consistent. He killed his brother when no one else was around.

I was somewhat wishing that HRG would finally die so our episodes weren't wasted with him and Claire fighting.

No idea what next season is going to be like unless they keep Sylar as a Vegeta and the main bad guy is Danko. Wait...

Well I presume Samuel must have some power of his own, however miniscule, that doesn't require any specials around to activate it. Afterall, didn't he kill Jacob with a small amount of dirt?

Also, every time Sylar talked of being good I laughed out loud. It's hard to take the dude seriously anymore.
