Fail emmies are failll. That said, looking forward to this! I finally sat down and watched HIMYM for the first time less than a month ago and powered through every ep in a few days.

Thought the Emmys were decent, but Mad Men and 30 Rock basically swept it up, making it not so fun for NPH, lol. He was a great host though.

I actually think Ted is one of the best characters on HIMYM. Barney, Marshall and Robyn are great an all but Ted reminds me so much of myself and my own stupidity.

Ryko: And there is no part of alyson hannigan that I dont want in on or around my mouth
Tyven: i think her dynamic as a couple with marshall is written well
Tyven: but i dont think her character is anything special

I actually never saw Jason Segal before this show (and still haven't seen him outside it) but Marshall is the character that won me over to get me hooked. I really like all 5 of them though as a group, even though I definitely wouldn't like Ted by himself, it's the fact everyone can push his buttons so easily that makes him fun to watch.

BTW seeing Brad with Robin just looked so wrong, glad that didn't keep going.

Premiere was excellent, just wish the season opener had been longer I hate having to wait a week for 20min episodes. ; ;
