its so funny cause its true. Even if I like Kreuk, her character and her acting were just horrible. Blue is just as bad an overactor.

I think they said that he would fly by the end of the season. it was ages ago in an interview, and I might be mistake.

I can hope damnit. Although tbh I am kinda expecting the last shot of smallville to be him donning the costume and flying away for the first time.

They had originally said that before the season started, but they had very little hope of seeing a pickup for Fall 2010. Last fall they were working on the fact that it was about a 95% chance that they were done in May. The network had moved the show to the Friday Death time slot and all. But the nerds, geeks, and homebodies (and DVR owners) made the show flourish in the timeslot. Now they have better ratings then ever and they will more than likely see a stated final season starting next fall. (Although i will believe that when I see it. This is the network who stupidly brought back that crapfest that was 7th Heaven for a season 3 weeks after they had aired the "Series Finale".)

oh and where the hell did Oliver and Chloe thing come from lol, I remember that one episode at the end where oliver was teaching her how to shoot a bow/ fuck her at the end and what not, but did not expect anything to come out of it.

I remember reading as well that Clark would fly this season by the end of it, that was one of the major announcements before the season started, along with Clark wearing his shield instead of just a red hoodie with a blue undershirt when going around as Superman.

The CW Network has announced that its hit series "Smallville" will return in the fall of 2010 for a momentous tenth season.

"Smallville" stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent. The series moved to Friday nights this season, where it currently ranks as network television's #1 show in its time period among men 18-34 and men 18-49. Additionally, "Smallville" has dramatically improved The CW's ratings performance in its Friday 8:00-9:00p.m.time period by 67% among adults 18-34 (1.5/6), 200% in men 18-34 (1.8/7), 75% in adults 18-49 (1.4/5), 183% in men 18-49 (1.7/6) and 74% in total viewers (3.12million).

"Smallville" joins the five previously announced series - "The Vampire Diaries," "Gossip Girl," "90210," "Supernatural" and "America's Next Top Model" - which will all return for another season on The CW.

"Smallville" was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar, based on the DC Comics characters. Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson serve as executive producers, along with James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. The series is produced by Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television.

The Superman Homepage received word that Brian Doherty, who was just this month promoted to svp, national sales, at The CW has revealed that the execs at The CW are excited about a 10th season for "Smallville", wanting to really "go out with a bang".
The word is that they're attempting to close a deal with Michael Rosenbaum to return as Lex Luthor, wanting to sign him up for at least 9 or 10 episodes.

I'll only be satisfied with smallvile if the final episode has Clarke standing in the fortress of solitude wearing the superman costume accepting his role and flying out with an air of power he has never shown as this kid.

Kind of like a dragon ball Z moment where they suddenly powerup and it's VERY obvious that nothing is even close to them in strength and power. Should have him land in the middle of 4-5 of his old rivals and have them just back away in fear at the new transition..

Geoff Johns appeared at the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle this weekend, and among other things he had this to say:

"They do appear again at the end of season on 'Smallville.' The hope is for every DC character to appear outside the comic book. Correctly."

March 26, 2010 - Michael Rosenbaum, best known for his well-received run as Lex Luthor on Smallville, has a new TV project in the works – one he created himself.

The as yet untitled pilot is set up at Syfy, who are attempting to venture more into the comedy arena. The half hour project stars Rosenbaum and Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's) as two friends who used to appear together on a popular science-fiction show. Having now hit rock bottom, they must work together to get their lives back on track.
The potential series is produced by Sony and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions

Wow, this episode "Checkmate" is fucking great. I am so glad they are finally following a static story and not randomly jumping everywhere now. I was kind of annoyed by the wannabe 300 slo-mo scenes in the beginning, but after a while especially after the breakout seen at the Checkpoint HQ, I saw the director was really going for a comic book look. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, fucking wow great ending with the Martian Manhunter & Waller

The only thing I don't like is all the shit Clark has been doing that is un-Clark like. Prime example tonight - taking Tess up to the ledge of the (was it the Daily Planet?) building and dangling her off. That just isn't something Clark/Supes would do, even in the height of Super-dickery back in the 1960s.
