Haha, whether intentional or not, I loved the MGS1 reference.
Welcome home, Brrotherr
I liked the episode as a whole, but I didn't think it was better than the first Metallo episode. It did have a lot of really cool moments though. Clark and Zod teaming up was pretty awesome, but some of the scenes looked like they were shot randomly. So Clark finds Metallo in a truck, then BOOM Zod blows it up. Cut to commercial, come back and Metallo is with Lois saying how they should go before they get blown up. Again? I don't know, just seemed weird. Not to mention, how the hell did Lois know where there was a truck full of Kryptonite?
Am I the only one who dislikes this zod storyline?
I understand the zod storyline. I just don't like where this is going. The only thing that would make this kryptonian war exciting is if more superheros joined in the fight and the fight was actually exciting.
An I can already tell you how this season ends. Clark gets his ass kicked/loses his powers and then lana appears just to get kidnapped again.
LOL. Oh wow. Yeah, I could see that happening. "WHERE DID SHE COME FROM"
She is the best weapon against the Kryptonians since she is Kryptonite powered![]()
so if anyone else saw the preview for next week, think he might finally fly?
the cake scene happened, minus the bit with the phone, and then the new editor being all I'M MAD
but yeah the preview was like "When you're trapped... the only way out... is up!" so come on, please be flying.
I am preempted because the stupid Cubs are on and this won't be on for me til after they get done.
I was also out last week and missed last week's episode (forgot to dvr), will I be out of place watching it on the CW's website after the new one tonight or does it not really flow into the new one for tonight?
You can watch any episodes you missed on http://tvshack.net/tv/Smallville/ .
Jor-el said that the reason Clark can't fly is because it's all in his mind. I remember at one point Clark was afraid of heights so that could have something to do with it. So the last episode will probably be of him flying and Louis learning of his true identity.
The Red Queen... I wouldnt be surprised if its Lana.
I bet Chloe's the red queen.
I was never a huge superman fan and I got a few questions and I figure I might as well ask them here.
1) Does Louis ever find out Clark is superman?
2) Does Lex know Clark is superman?
3) I was always under the assumption that lex didn't like superman because he always stopped his plans of taking over the world, but in smallville lex wanted to destroy Clark because he thought clark was an alien sent to earth to destroy mankind. Is it like that in the comics?
4) I was read that Chloe is a made up character just for smallville. Does this mean Chloe dies at some point or is watchtower an actual Dc universe character?
5) I know clark is missing the power of flight at the moment but does he get stronger/faster as he gets older and becomes superman or is this the extent of his powers?
6) Is Tess a permenant character in the superman universe or does she leave in the comics?
