Yeah.. how this still gets good ratings, though.. fuck if I know on that account. Fuck this show, lol. Sheldon was one of the big saving points, and he's gotten dumber as we've gone along.

calling Sheldon and Amy getting drunk off long island ice tea's not knowing they're alcoholic, do it and the season ending cliffhanger she's pregnant.
.
Oh goodie, another three years to ruin it further with more pathetic attempts to interject shitty romance subplots into a show about scientists. And let's not forget clicheing their own characters, that's important too.
Just shows how little CBS really has going for them right now
Howard living with his mother is totally played out. Move him out of there already because if she were real, Bernadette would not put up with that and dump him. If I have to choose between Howard's mother and Bernadette, it's going to be Bernadette.
After this episode she might as well dump him, knowing what kind of future they'd have together.
I didn't really buy the whole 'stolen WoW account' plot, but I understood the reason behind it. It seemed silly that Sheldon was upset about a 125 day old character when my FF11 character has almost a thousand days of playtime!
Next week's episode looks interesting though. Are they going to keep Howard and Bernadette together or push Bernadette with Raj? I think Bernadette and Raj would be kinda cute but it seems unrealistic that she'd drop Howard and take up with his best friend immediately. I don't see Howard really marrying Bernadette since the writers insist on squeezing every last laugh out of him living with his mother that they can.
I miss Penny and Sheldon episodes. The Penny/Bernadette/Amy scenes are getting funny though.
The last few episodes have all been far too similar. One third penny/bernadette/amy with some unfunny dialogue, one third leonard/priya back and forth discussions about penny and the rest is some decent filler with sheldon and raj. I'm hoping they diverge from all the love triangles going on soon and get back to what the show was like in seasons 1 and 2.
I liked last night's episode. Raj was great.
It has and it hasn't. Amy is getting as marginalized just as much as Sheldon has throughout the entire season. Last night's episode Sheldon was used only for a sidegag of 3 person chess and his ever growing amount of new pieces. Although I have to admit having a gorilla and a beekeeper was pretty funny.
I wish the show would go back to the time when it was just the 5 of them instead of having so many ancillary and unnecessary characters around. Oh and why in hell doesn't Penny have a new bf? Come on, she's hot and they haven't even gone to that well again.
I figure they're leading up to a season finale with Penny telling Leonard she loves him just as he's about to get on the plane to India to meet Priya's parents and him saying "Thank you" and getting on the plane, in reverse of what happened when they broke up. Leonard will break up with Priya at some point in the first 1 or 2 epiosdes of the next season. Then we will have a year of "Will they get back together or won't they?"
I agree with the "going back to the original 5" idea. The addition of more girls just seems like they are trying to make the show more appealing to a wider audience and it just irks me.
The show needs new characters, since the creators have shown they're unwilling to let the original 5 grow in any meaningful way. It was made pretty clear tonight, just when it seems Raj might be able to ditch the idiotic 'I can't talk to girls without being drunk hurrr', they go and have him take off his clothes. I've given up hope for the show to be great; its a decently fun 20 minutes on the backs of a talented crew of actors but the first 2 seasons exhausted the writer's good ideas, its all formula from here. Sheldon will be asocial and kinda dickish, Leonard will play the exasperated straight man, and the biggest original reveal we can hope for is Penny's last name.
You guys expect too much from this show lol. Couple cheap laughs here and there is all one should ask for.
Thing is though throughout the first two seasons, at least in my opinion, the show was much more than just being there for a "couple cheap laughs", it was actually hilarious. In the process of introducing more characters and making the show into something more people will enjoy, they're starting to alienate the people who have watched from the very beginning and the laughs are becoming much harder to find.
I think that, between the smoking monkey and Sheldon getting put in isolation at the hospital, that this show might have officially jumped the shark. I thought it was just starting to recover too.
Still not sure how this show gets such huge ratings. I liked the first couple of seasons, but that laugh track is really annoying the hell out of me.
