When you plan for something to happen at a certain time and it doesn't, and it's something you paid for, yeah, you tend to be a little disappointed. Not everyone can sit in front of their computer all day waiting for them to get all their ducks in a row. Expecting people to ignore the issues is what's backwards. The canned response of 'stop crying over this' is a bit played out.

QQ over problems won't make them work faster. i'm working in the IT department and most annoying thing are QQ who constantly keep ringing you to tell that X (still) isn't running. as if you wouldn't know. let them fix and announce it. meanwhile do something else. it was stupid to release a patch so close to pre-selection launch, but you can't change that fact either anymore, no matter what you do.
