I'm happy Glau is getting a recurring role this season as the Topher like person w/in the WA Dollhouse.
yay I am very excited about this. XD
There also adding the guy who played the devil in Reaper which is awesome.
C'mon! His name is Ray Wise. He was also in Twin Peaks and if you want to go way back, Robocop.
I know his name just couldn't think of it off the top of my head while driving in 5' o clock traffic + rain. ; ;
Rain is that Korean dude that's the greatest actor of our generation.
I wish November was going to still be a regularI think she's beautiful and amazing
Enjoying the episode so far. At least they're staying short on the useless parts of the jobs Echo is going on. The Topher/Whisky scene was great, sucks she won't be around this whole season.
I didn't really get the whole wedding thing (what was the point when they're trying to kill each other 30 minutes later?), or why Ballard wasn't her handler from the beginning of the episode.
I guess they wanted to segway into the fact that he learns Echo can remember all of her different personalities and that he can use it before becoming her handler. Also the Whiskey story was a bit weird to me.
Spoiler: show
Thought it was an ok episode, doesn't live up to the un-aired one D: Also, good for him, he worked out over the summer, but I thought Topher lost his charm a bit from before, like they're trying to make him grow as a person? I loved his kid-with-matches persona from the first season.
Something ain't sitting right with me about this episode either. I sometimes felt this way when I watched last season being aired, but now when I rewatch any episodes from the first season, I think they're all fantastic.
Whiskey feels/felt that Topher when making the persona he created for her purposely made it so that she would hate him. They would be colleagues working together and he made it so they would hate each other, I think a number of people would be interested in why.
The Whiskey story probably had to be weird because originally she would've been around this season but because of Amy Acker working somewhere else they had to write her out. So the solution probably doesn't fit so nicely. I'm not going to hold that against Joss, that's just bad luck really.
I personally enjoyed this episode a lot. Caroline part was the weakest like always, but rest was good.
Ugh I hate watching this show on Hulu, I have such ADD with staying interested with this show 90% of the time.
