I don't even really like zombie films either so that has zero to do with this conversation.

but I love zombie films so its back in the coversation
Well that explains a lot
what the shit happened here ;x
Well first, we were talking about a movie that hadn't been publicly released yet. Then some people saw it and had mix reviews, then those who liked and hated it had a 4 page argument which resulted in a few posts that talked about sweet rides. Then we talked about alternate endings and recommendations that included bad slash films, syfy and shaun of the dead.
Well here's something else on the off-topic'ish stuff...
I thought Joy-ride was a good movie. Not sure if the movie was that great or not, but I really liked the special features on the DVD ;x Made the movie a lot more worthwhile for me for some reason. There was like a new 30 min sequence of a different ending and also three different endings of each char. being the "hero"
Know what was a shit scary movie? The strangers
Movie scared the fuck out of me. Depends on where you watch it. I live in the mountains and watching that shit in the dark fucked me up.
Liv Tyler is hot so that's always a +. Can't remember my reactions to this movie, tbh. I usually don't like this type of movie, not because it's scary. Just because I think it'll give ppl ideas to do crazy shit.
I want to know who the hell wrote this synopsis off RT:

A haunted house makes no secret of the fact it is not pleased with its new tenants in this independent tale of supernatural horror. Katie (Katie Featherson) and Micah (Micah Sloat) are a twentysomething couple who've just moved into a new home in San Diego, California. Katie has an interest in the paranormal and believes that malevolent spirits have been following her since childhood, though Micah is not so easily convinced. However, after several nights of loud noises and strange happenings, Micah starts to agree with Katie that some sort of ghost may have followed them to the new home. After a paranormal researcher tells the couple he can't help them, Micah decides to take control of the situation and sets up a battery of video cameras so that if a spirit manifests itself, he can capture its behavior on tape. Once the surveillance cameras are in place, Katie and Micah bring in a Ouija board in an effort to talk to the spirits, a move that deeply offends the ghosts. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY was the first feature film from writer-director Oren Peli.
hmm, let's see...
Spoiler: show
so dumb.
I wish I knew what you were talking about, but then again if I only gave a shit about your worthless opinion.
From the top of my head:
- [Rec]
- [Rec^2]
- Odishon
- Død snø (pretty good laughs too)
- Shutter (Thai version)
- Martyrs
- A Tale of Two Sisters (Korean ver.)
- À l'intérieur
- Suspiria
That's all I can remember for now ;x
Edit: Suspiria - The visuals and soundtrack are some of the best, and I'm not talking about cheap scares or special effects. Those elements are merged together so well that it draws you in. Here's a scene so you'll know what you're getting into (not typical Hollywood shit):

Only seen Rec (spanish version) and Shutter (Thai version)
Shutter was pretty horrible.... Only one scene I liked, and not for scary reasons either.
I think Rec was pretty cool... Can't remember atm >.>a
I guess we have to depend on other countries now to make quality scary movies >.>a Probably because it's not just all out effects and blood and gore.
One of the best scenes I can remember is from Ring (JP version) when she was on the TV in the background. That scene was truly awesome and suspenseful.
REC 2 was so bad. How can you like that shit.
and you know about all about dog faced azns
holy shit this thread was awesome. perm went hard
Fucking hated Paranormal Activity. Not scary at all. Maybe I had too high of expectations... Or maybe I'm just too old to get scared by this shit -.-a
Saw the 4th Kind a while back(one of those flyer dealies).
It was decent.
Just got back, Not scary at all.![]()
Watched it the other night, and the only part that was 'holy crap thats pretty freaky' was when she got dragged out from her bed. Rest of it was kind of slow, and made me horny trying to picture myself as the ghost, and fornicating with the hot gf.
