Funny that you assume I'm angry or upset about shit that happened to me. I was simply backing up my statement that the finesse's claim about "bumps in the night" and "ghost stories" is not as universal as he implied. Which makes the argument that this is "the scariest movie ever" one which requires a grain of salt.

He tried to call me out on it, I explained where my personal psychological buttons lay, and why, followed by pages of ridiculous argument with him claiming I arbitrarily made up a fucked up childhood to prove a point on a forum about a movie I hadn't seen.


My point was simply: not everyone is frightened by the same things, perhaps you should recheck your claim that this is the scariest movie ever.

Theatrical was she comes upstairs and hurls his body at the camera, kneels down by his body and starts sniffing him, then looks up at the camera and her face turns all demony for a sec then she flexes. The word is the OG ending is she walks up to the camera after stomping upstairs and slits her own throat. That's the ending I want to see.

The cop ending is good in theory, however it was executed terribly. I really don't see how people like the throat slitting one, and complain that the theatrical ending was cliche. I can't think of a more cliche way to to die than to slit their own throat, it just wouldn't make sense after all the shit the demon did to finally "possess" Katie to just end her.

Because I think the throat slitting makes it more surreal and fucked up and makes less sense. Being possessed by a demon? Hello Exorcist 30 years ago. It makes her look so random and helpless like, ya bitch I'm done fucking with you good night sweet princess. I feel like that has way more closure than "omg she's a demon and credits said she can't be finded."

I can see that, I just don't like it. However, there was one idea someone had elsewhere where after Micah is thrown at the screen, the demon let's go of Katie, and she realizes that Micah is dead. She rushes to the body and starts crying or w/e and then like we see earlier in the movie, the demon starts to pull Katie back towards the attic. That ending is incredibly like Quarantine/REC, but I feel that the scene earlier was creepy as fuck and would've had more of a "final scare".

Another one I read was more simple. Instead of Katie being all demon and shit and sniffing Micah at the end, then lunging at the camera or whatever, she simply walks over to it, with that creepy smile on her face and just turns the camera off. That would've been more effective than the theatrical ending imo.

I really just don't like the idea of her slitting her throat. However, the one ending where she sits there for several days is pretty creepy, it's just once the cops come in kind of ruins it because they shoot her so fast
