You've got more fortitude than I. While I leveled enough to 30 for a full Daeva set, the game just lost its charm between gameplay issues, imbalances, and the glorious RNG. I tried playing on my Glad during the freebie time, but that one night really wasn't enough to re-hook me.

I can't get my glad past 48 because of the need to find parties at that level.

I'd pretty much soloed mine in Theo. Was slow and painful, but got done eventually. Being a heavily gear dependent melee class doesn't really help if you're not pimped, either. Meanwhile, sorcs can just ding into boom and doom while rangers, a bit gear dependent in their own right, never had to worry about getting hit and spending time recovering HP if they were decent. And while my cleric and chanter weren't the fastest killers in comparison, they were definitely more durable. Shit I'd never dare approach solo on my glad I'd often be able to solo on my cleric.

My cleric kills so very very very much faster than either my glad (who isn't really geared out) or chanter (who's very geared out, but has no big damage skills).

They do get better later on, yeah. Certainly once they can start stacking some DoTs.

I think the most painful one for me to level was templar, I hate that class. They kill so much slower than any other class, and honestly don't seem any more durable than the other classes, at least for grinding.

As far as leveling itself goes, I think the 48-50 range in theo, as well as 54-55 range are the worst. My last five characters I leveled simultaneously, I would do a set of quests on one character, then log onto the others and do the same quests. Tried to take advantage of as much energy of repose as I could, but it still took me a loooong time.

What I did to level them was:
1-37 crafting and random quests in eltnen
37-42 kromede's trial
42-48 J village repeatable quests
48-50 theo hell
50-51 inggison zone 1 quests
51-54 talloc's hallow
54-55 all other inggison quests and campaigns

I find that interesting, cause I'm leveling templar atm and loving leveling. Yeah, random damage can be annoying and I chug pots...but i chug pots on every class lol.

46-50 is by far the worst part of the game though, I can't stand those levels.

46-50 wasn't all that bad until the geniuses at NCSoft made the coin quests dailies without adding a spammable replacement for them.
