I got lucky w/ gems and spend 10$ on the 100% socketing lol >.> Still. I took the pvp bow to 4 then used it on the last 2 (lost 9-10 stones otw to 4 though - not terrible), and I think I only lost 2 on getting the miragents bow to 3/4 before i used the 100% item on the 4th.

I spent around 70m on enchanting the bow. I only broke once otw to +10. then got it to +14 twice and failed the 15th twice. This isn't even counting all the times I broke just getting it to +14 lol. Then i gave up when i got it to +12 and figured that was good enuff -.-

Got all but boots from the arena. My poor wife has not seen one piece drop yet.

individual pieces can drop from the bags? I thought the bags only dropped the 7 day stuff

Yesterday got a really nice temp to show me and 2 friends how t o do BTHM. We first did BTNM and then she gave us all scrolls to reset our timers and we did BTHM. Now I've never met anybody that nice to, not only give their scrolls away, but to take the time and help us w/ the SW key quest and explain all the fights.

So first BTHM run one of the bosses drops 6 slot Stormwing Gloves for my Sorc. And then I break first 6 socket in a row (+27 MB), then go 100% on the 6 slots. talk about awesome luck!

was pretty nice, especially just to get feet wet. I will say this though, it took FOREVER! Was a lot of fun though, didn't think we were geared for HMs but only one that gave us any trouble whatsoever was the first one. Was more cause the templar was running behind poles LoSing the cleric/chanter.

HM run took under 2hrs for our first. that wasnt bad. the NM we killed everything i think lol

The first boss is definitely the litmus test, for the tank and cleric sadly that's about as hard as it gets in there. What great luck slotting those gloves. I can throw down a 55 min Besh HM run now but havent seen a single chain piece yet since I started 4 weeks ago. Pretty painful.

Every boss in there is just a healcheck, the only one that's really a test on any of the other members is Virhana. If you have crappy DPS you can slowly chip away at any of the other bosses if your healers can keep up.

Love me some 2 dps virhana when we go with 3(.5) people, was even better before they nerfed woq...i miss 4.9k dps. ; ;

Yeah, both drop from the bags actually. Got a second hat that was the 7 day version.

I had quite the Easter luck today! Obtained Jotun's Jerkin, Jotun's Breeches, Malika's Vambrace, Malika's Shoulderguards, Debilkarum's Corundum Earrings, and Anurati's Corundum Ring. Had another Jotun's Jerkin that was going to go to my alt, but one of the members screwed up the looting so it got lost. Also picked up some random golds, that sell quite well. Best Aion day I've ever had!

Whoa, that is quite the luck there. I'm lucky to even see 1 gold/orange drop when clearing both sections of udas lol.

Also forgot to mention I got Surama's Vambrace shortly before the malika's too. Both the gloves and jerkin were on my first runs...crazy! Others in my group I go with were getting lots of nice stuff too, saw some cleric and temp feet, cleric legs, anurati's dirk, etc. I kind of thought the drop rate must not be so bad, or I'm just use to the poor rate from FFXIV.

Thread revived! Been playing more actively. Ranger is @48 currently. First run thru T-Labs...


(Got jerkin, also pants earlier in the run. Necklace too.)
Second run, got my bow. Legion mates were pretty shocked. I hear Triroan is a stingy bitch.

Also ran Azo and got both of my earrings in the same night. Lady luck is showing me some love in this game.

...yes. Yes, Triroan is a BIT of a stingy asshole. TWO weapon drops is unreal, two in a row is inconceivable.

Dinged 52. Gotta agree with 46-50 being hell. Not sure if I'll do that again. Waiting for an Udas run since the wife tells me the XP in there is insane. XP amulet event is also helping a ton.

Yea, 46-50 is definitely the worst part. 51-60 can be done in roughly 10 full clears of lower udas with a good healer + 2 dps setup and xp ammys, which can be done in a few hour stretch with the help of reset scrolls. Ranger can solo a lot of udas as well with good use of traps to string out the pulls (spike trap / trap of slowing), and blind trap for the ranged mobs, and basically perma mau form with 4k DP every 3 kills if you have trouble getting a group going for it.
