From the past few weeks of farming him, pretty confident its a 24 hour window with a chance of spawning every hour afterward until the 36 mark, rarely ever went over this time for us. Large numbers isn't needed, i go with a small group of 4 including me. Just need a pro sorc. We usually glide from the top down to jesuchi's island skipping the first bridge and unnecessary shit ton of mobs to beat others to it.

I've never fought Zapiel, and don't really care if I do, but it's getting annoying hearing people who know info about him post with "ssssshhhh, don't tell!" so I did a quick google and found this.

I can't speak for how accurate the information is, but it could be somewhere to start at least for those trying to start Zapiel.

I don't need this info, but it's nice of you to share. I appreciate it, if I find any useful info, I'd like to think I'd share it with the BG community at least, even though we are so unbelievably massive that it would be monopolized.

pretty easy rift for asmo, if the indratu rift is up its pretty easy for asmo to get there and kill him... Elyos just have the upper hand because we dont need to rly on a rift. Then again,,, asmo have the Queen who drops pretty hot loot also... and shit is a PitA for Elyos since the closest rift is -46 onry otherwise your taking xeno rift or some shit and running 1/2 across the zone

let me spell this out for you: this isn't ffxi we don't even get a claim system: so what WILL eventually happen is legions will show up out there and try to out DPS/MPK eachother. Because people feel they deserve those items over others.

some legions may come to agreements to share and not fight over it: but it just takes one dick legion to ruin the whole thing, it's bound to happen and it will happen.

the group I run with: once we're geared we're leaving them alone, which I think is pretty god damn thoughtful. But we get all these whispers none stop, asking us questions about the monsters, and really it's completely disrespectful: you people whisper the others and myself hoping you can slip some info out of us like we're stupid. That is pretty insulting.

Like what was said in the other thread: go out there camp it, and get some times yourself: that's what we had to do. We have absolutely no obligation to give anyone info on these mobs.

first off, the bakarma -> indratu rift puts us in a room with deputy hanuman and about an hour's worth of clearing balaur to get out to the barracks.

second, queen alukina's weapons are shit in comparison to anything jeshuchi or zapiel drops. zapiel's spear is better than the one dropped by the S rank boss of poeta because that spear doesn't extend. alukina's on the other hand are kind of middling. plus, her drop rate is garbage. one legion on my server killed her ~25 times without a single weapon before they gave up.

third, you can run to alukina's from ANY lv.50 elysea -> asmodae rift because you don't need to pass red mane to go from the bakarma side to the kurngalfberg side. also, the path between those rifts and the palace is just a bunch of mid-30s areas, so it's not like it's even difficult.

for the record, the only useful lv.50 rifts asmos get to heiron put us on the beach near storm circle or in the jungle near aetherogenetics lab

Yeah, it's a crime to try to do your research on something in a game before trying to do it yourself. I'm sure you read all the quest texts and figured out how to do every quest without having to ask anyone or go online. In fact, I bet you've never even been to aionarmory or aiondatabase, because all of the information that's shared on those sites you could figure out for yourself. You're arguing that it's unreasonable to use resources.

Would you get in this big of a pissy fit if someone were asking you where the dye vendor is, or where the entrance to TG is? How about asking where you obtain a piece of armor that you have equipped? Of course you aren't obligated to answer, but none of the questions are disrespectful and your paranoia is laughable.

Let me just say, I don't care if I ever kill Zapiel, I have no interest in him. If I have the opportunity to kill him uncontested, I'd take it, but I'm not motivated enough to compete over him. The only reason I've any interest in him now is because I think it'd be pretty cool to expose details about him just to piss off all the people that brag about having information but won't share anything.

He knows at least 2 people on his server read this forum (me and terico), and are from another legion fully capable of killing zapiel. We would jump on it if given a free explanation of the windows.

You can ask, but don't expect to receive. Why would he actively try to ruin a good thing he's got going? I definitly wouldn't do it for some randoms I don't know and will never play with.

I don't care about having the best gear in the game. I play a video game to have fun, and the fun is acquired by the experiences. It sounds like this monster will be pretty well contested, and I don't find fights like that fun, thus I have no interest in doing it.

I'm sure you'll find it fun when you get facerolled at 50 by any ranged class because the flight combat system for melees is so BS you have to basically be inside another flying character to get a move off, and you'll never be able to finish a combo unless they stand still and let you.

and we're the assholes? not one of us have bragged about it. Atleast I haven't bragged about it. I've only asked that people keep it underwraps for consideration of those who have taken the time to learn the timers. (btw: every found resource on the timers is wrong)

Like Astarael has pointed out there are several legions on the same servers who read these forums on the same server as myself. My group plans to leave the mobs alone once our core group is decked cause we're not gonna fight over larger groups for these mobs. Which is a hellva lot nicer then what alot of JP did on FFXI (claiming and dropping abjurations to keep the it out of the hands of NAs)

as for dye vendors or entrance to TG: telling people about those doesn't effect my ability to use them: if others know about zapiel/jesh it can clearly effect my ability to fight them.
