Beat a 42 sin today on my 31 ranger :S That's the best I've managed to do yet.

Balanced game.

My accomplishment is that i finally uninstalled after playing on and off, made someone happy by giving him like 40M worth of stuff (by the sounds of it this gets people banned though lol?). Annoyingly though my account is still active till March.

is it a 100% hp vs 100% hp fight?

is he on a mob?

if its a fair fight, good job

but most of the time i dont think so anyway. the way this game is setup, i dont even think anyone can "really" beat someone that high more than you

im not doubting your skills, but skills is only 30% in this game, lvl/gears are the other 70%

if u really did it fairly, good job

anyway who cares if its fair or not, its pvp XD

Not really an accomplishment, grats for having an extremely OP pvp class and facing a class that can't pvp worth a shit against anyone ranged. I regret ever having played an assassin in that game.

haha yea but 900 will make it alot easier tho

i agree on the chanter and templar dps part, it is really essential for DP, most chanter didnt go much DPS at all on my server, my DP chanter prolly the best DPS chanter but he still havent get full fenris(failed hot heart ;\), so we can only hope he crit the pants ^^ he got like 490ish attack tho.

as for templar dps, i think u and me pretty close ^^ i got lesser crit tho, but more attack haha

nice to see good dps templars out there that still knows how to tank hehehe.
most templar on my server that are "good" are HP/block/mr mix......................its sad...........

as for the dp food part on my death, yep i got my 4k dp food and i used it to divine grasps the 25% adds lol...

yep burning scrolls and pots and power shards(we only use them for boss lol not used to spam it except in pvp) is definately the shittest part in this game

you need those items to actually do well in this game sadly.......they also take up 1 entire quickbar too lol

lol we got it down to 23% and our server disconnected on 4 people at the same time, what a fucking kick in the arse. They all logged back in to see themselves in terminon....

Anyway to recap on some things, yea due to the expenses of power shards we decided to just use them on the boss fights. Greater courage/run speed scrolls are still on 100% of the time but that's only about 25 scrolls of each per run so not too bad. Question for you arthas but how come you didn't cap your physical crit to the soft cap before maximizing your attack? Shame to the temps that are socketing block and hp, our dps is overall amazing and I always happen to land 2nd highest dps in groups below our sorc when we parse. Our group is actually just a team of the best players on our server that everyone pretty much recognizes, were not all from the same legion per say.

A tip that might be useful for you to try out next time but I didnt use divine grasp for the pull, all I did was pop iron skin before hand and provoking roar->single taunted 2 with my provokes and terrible howl afterwards. It was enough aggro to keep them on me for awhile before the disconnects occured. Was just saving my 4k dp to pop nezekans shield after my iron skin went down or i was hitting below 40% hp. Sigh all we needed was a solid 40 seconds to burn the boss from 25% down to 0%. Oh well going to give it another try tonight, will keep this updated and hope to get first NA/EU kill off this guy :D

i was doing 440 crit before, but lack of attack kinda hurts in pvp.....

so i go for more att now, i am hoping to hit 500 someway and not gimp too much crit but it seems impossible unless i get my anuhart greatsword.....

finding a mix and i kinda like this setup atm, i kinda kill a lil faster than i was 440 crit and about 430ish att that time

anyway my crit will improve a lil when i get all 50 accessories *drool*
i have decent crit gear till like 390 on my pve gears, so a chan buff can bring me to soft cap

everyone also going att crazy now for some reason...zikel att stones is 250k now and crit is only 150 O_o wierd

and yea divine grasps prolly not needed i guess. i hold them all myself so the dps can rush the boss down. i didnt have provoking roar AND terrible howl (i do have the stigmas tho) on so i used divine grasps XD. our idea is NO ONE TOUCH templar while we tank our things with IS and zikel's armor and they focus on curing/zerging the boss down in 1 min ^^;

i will try the roar + howl combo soon when shits dont work well enough, right now our glad is pretty undergeared(not full fenris as well and dualwield glad with anuhart scale sword and [blue]dark dragon sword), but our sin pretty beast tho

atk stones are generally more then crit because atk (like MB) doesn't have a soft cap. So while you can easily hit Crit soft cap w/good gear and maybe 5-8 stones, you can put all the atk you want on your gear. And crit food & scrolls and exist, while atk food kinda sucks compared to other stuff u can use

With crits often doubling damage unless the skill has some kind of funky modifier, even with a soft cap, getting enough +Attack to rival Crit's overall damage is probably impossible. I know for Gladiators, wiggling attack in on top of crit isn't really complimentary until you start getting more golds. Even moreso if you prefer GS over PA.

I wasn't fighting zombies and still managed to pull some pretty good numbers despite my level on these Balaur elites, we were farming them for blood stains. My crit with a sword is 480+, mace 410, and 2-hander 380-ish because I socketed it with attack stones, so I use the +60 scrolls and it has a very impressive knock down rate on these.

Did Upper and Lower SR. Today was my first shot ever at Grogget, we failed because we honestly didn't have a good party for it (PUG). After I got off work I tried again with another PUG and to my surprise we downed him. He only dropped a green headband, we got blue chain stuff from Chief Gunner. Overall was pretty mediocre drop wise but a lot of good exp gained and pretty decent loot from the mobs.

NTC'd my cleric from 28 to 29. Took Cooking on her from 0 to Expert in like a 15 hour marathon. I then proceeded to cook like 1500 Calydon Meat Dumplings from meat and perer I'd had from my main while grinding. In the end, she came out to halfway into 32 just from synthing from 29.

Proceeded to level my Sorc today from 25 to 30.

Converted 2 Daeva items to pieces for my Cleric, slotted them all with HP+75s despite some break issues.

Was feeling ballsy, so I tried my Expert Alchemy test again after buying some overpriced Major Elemental Stones (They've been 3k+ for a week or more now). I actually HQ the first synth while the second NQs. Try again and again the first HQs. Looking at my onhand kinah, I cringe a little and empty it on another set of mats for the second synth. I about fell out of my chair when it proc'd.

Trying to sell my platinum coins now so I'm not piss broke. Next time double EXP rolls around, I'll probably finish up a Daeva set with my Assassin and Ranger (20 and 19 now, respectively). Until then, focus will be working on Miragent's, I think. Still need to clear Theo Labs for the boss drop.
