lol right. Naruto had every opportunity to jump/train us and kill the boss, he didn't. I'm sure he didn't want to risk losing AP with Iuat in our group, he farms Naruto.

ninja'ing surk is 10x less effort then training.. and training doesnt kill the sin who is ninja'ing surk. So gloating about a SS where you beat another team (idk if its Naruto) where your sin has 4k more AP from everyone because he was ninja'ing surk isnt rly something to brag about. and lol @ losing AP in dredg

I paid off a 1.4 mil bill just so my DP group wouldn't bitch about 4 minute sickness just a few hours before that announcement. Oh well, still saved ~600k from deaths that occurred between then and now.

As for an accomplishment, got elite 40 AP body (319k AP) for my 40 sin and got rid of my damn officer rank last night. It is only my first piece in the set though since I decided to work on the harder pieces first since I planned on gimping with white manastones until 1.9 comes out to make it easier for me to socket greens but the rest of the pieces should be a lot less painful to get.

^ Haha I noticed that last night, I was like umm Officer, wtf is he saving for now, thought maybe you where going for Elite gold weapon first. Wasn't it hard to get kills being a 2-star officer? surely after a few kills people would be all over you?

PvP as a 40 officer is pretty much worthless, diminishing returns makes anything below rank 3 basically worthless, and not many people around that range are rank 3 or higher, and thats not even considering the fact that I'd lose 1600 points if i died to someone around my level as a 2-star officer. Fort guards only give 20 AP per at 2-star and run a high risk of being ganked so that isn't worth it either. As an officer, a lot of 50s who are on their officer kill quest will see you as an easy quest credit and try to go for you, however, I was only successfully killed by other players 2x as an officer, only one of which was actually on the quest, so that wasn't too bad.

I ended up primarily grinding on guard towers at odd hours as well as hoarding fort instance loot from lower forts. I'd say the push from 200k-319k was about a 50/50 split of guard towers and fort instances. The AP from guard towers ranges from about 175-275 per guard for solo kills at 40 and does not begin to diminish until 1-star officer so its about the only worthwhile way to gain AP outside of fort instances at that level/rank.

I'll probably hoard enough fort instance loot to turn in for an elite 40 sword while I work on the rest of my armor set. The body piece is the only truly difficult piece in the set to get as a 40 since you have to go 115k AP into officer ranks, the rest should be a cakewalk compared to it.

The strategy is dead come the patch anyway, so it may be cute and fun now, but you better be able to learn a new strat whenever (if ever) the dame patch hits.

The only way I do dredgion now is train game. Instead of steamrolling the other team and getting 60+pvp kills total as team, we'd rather train in beginning down their side to brig and then reset. Train down our side past our brig, re-res and get captain/bridge. If you can get outta dredgion in 10minutes instead of 40 doing a whole clear, by all means do it.

Theres only 2 competent dredgion statics that we come up against(azphel, asmo side) and they already know thats an automatic "train the surks" game when they see my group.

Also the mobs move faster, are stronger, see through Hide II, and the RR walls have more HP.

Dredgion update can't come soon enough. Would've enjoyed the event a lot more if it wasn't about who could train or ninja surks.

Oh, no were more than capable of killing any group in dredgion since nobody stands a chance against my group really. It's just that we like to goto primum afterward and get our 5-star/general kills from those getting out of dredgion a bit later. The AP turn out becomes much more for time spent.

Around 6.4-6.5k is the max if the team is together.

In the above SS, my team let me take all but 2 surkanas on my own to boost me to get my elite 50 wep before the next dredgion. ^^
