I can't say I feel inclined to throw the cash at Ankle Snare until they fix it so people can't use a Healing Potion to get out of it. Some might call that fair, but shit's on a 2m cooldown while Rangers and such get CC aplenty. Plus every person I see AHing AD has a name that has my RMT bells ringing. So yeah, 2m+ for that can bite me.

Was also wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any info regarding a suitable number of Magic boost i need for a "cap" so to speak then i can start working in some HP. I've heard 1400 is good then start to incorporate hp but never found any threads lol.

nearly 2 hour fight on the upper abyss Lake Asteria against the balaur.

Elyos have to go farm some pages from Lepharists, then do their own lab instance, then go to Beluslan and farm Alquimia Scholars for 5 entry passes (Not 100%, group loot), then kill a Supervisor to get the key for Beluslan's research lab, then go through that up to the second floor into a library and then loot a book and then kill some 2star elite robots in Asteria.
Longest run-on sentance ever, too lazy to fix it, defending our fortress.

Got my Sorcerer to 20 today and finished all the Krall Quests.

The first group failed horribly but luckily the second group was very well put together. Going to do the Stigma quest when I get home tomorrow. x.x Sooo tired. ><

Thanks Veyron, I really appreciate the advice and encouragement. I like gladiator a lot, but my initial PVP experiences sound a lot like yours. I'd really like to become a marquee gladiator so I'm happy to get any advice you (or anybody) can throw my way. It's been a long time since I've played a PVP based MMO and nothing quite this scope. I feel clumsy, but it's really nice to know I can improve.

Ankle Snare is 700k on Azphel. I'm guessing it's botted a lot? A lot of people in my legion are just about ready to do Kaidens, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime I'm trying not to level too high. Got to 120 gathering and went from 35 to 100 aethering today. I'm also thinking of taking up alchemy (at 165 HC right now).

Its called tactics. Sure it's a game, but RL still translates into it at some points. If you know you can't win a fight, you hightail it out and wait for a chance to win. You don't just go "Dur ok I lose, kill me". Self-preservation is key.

Anytime! As I said, feel free to toss questions & such my way via pm's or anything. Congrats on your Gathering/Extracting! I've neglected mine so far, lol. Snare's a world drop, so anyone "can" get it off of a L28+ mob, so gogo farming & such to get yours :D

They fixed that within the first week Had quite a few people try to pot out, I can confirm it doesn't work anymore!

Know which type of potion they used offhand? Dunno if it makes a difference between Lesser, Greater, or even a Healing Root. Shit's still expensive, though, and they don't seem to fit into the greater stigma builds later so I've just been kinda toughing it out. May be one free slot, forget. I know I present have CC3, LD2, and IS. Was gonna get SWB3 when I hit 40.

Got my Inferno last night. I've been lucky and got sword drop from NTG which was basically a free Life Sword, so I haven't had to buy one in like 7 levels.

Took aethering from 40 to 199 yesterday and today. In doing so I ended up in a fortress defense. I tweaked down my graphical settings and it improved the the intensity of combat greatly. I was totally overmatched, but had fun. I also dinged 29. Working on gear upgrades and ankle snare though.

4-manned TG without a healer, just some pots and cussing.

Templar SM Ranger Ranger was the setup, just kited the mobs around to get the kills.

Sadly, this would go exponentially faster if my legion wasn't obsessed with trying to gank asmos under 30 or wasting time in fort sieges to actually level and help kill elite shit. I've been trying to bait them with the lure of "free" gear from all the group quests, but I guess it hasn't been enough.
