Haha, yea, I did check the comments on /3 and saw them, but I'm not one to waste time responding to the idiots on /3. 95% of the time I don't even have a window with /3 chat anywhere on my screen because I feel dumber every time i actually read it lol.

As for how I leveled, I saved up enough quests + max soul sickness to get about halfway into 51 when servers came up. I basically solo grinded elite guards in the core until 53, then spammed all the quests I could in balaurea the rest of the way. I did stop to do taloc's for stigma quest and dredgion with my static to get a break from the grind. No botting or account sharing like some of the idiots on /3 were accusing me of lol.

Now to wait for enough people to catch up to be able to do beshmundir temple instance to get my last stigma slot.

Seem like 2.0 is being beneficial to the game, or will we kinda be in the same place 2-3 months from now with people bitching about nothing to do, faction imbalance, etc.?

They have made some big changes that should improve the game greatly for those just starting out, such as:
-Greatly increased quest rewards on nearly every quest (XP/Kinah/item rewards) as well as new quests that are very generous in this regard as well.
-Homeland PvP defense bonus (-80% PvP damage taken if you are an elyos in eltnen or an asmo in morheim, and -40% PvP damage taken if you're an elyos in heiron or an asmo in beluslan) which has basically put a halt onto perma rifting twinks griefing the hell out of people grinding that are severely undergeared/underleveled in comparison to them.
-3 new solo instances that can be completed in a short amount of time and offer pretty decent rewards for their level.
-New endgame PvE gear that can be obtained by grinding several quests which don't rely heavily on RNG *cough*hot heart of magic*cough*.

However, I do feel 2.0 was a big shift away from PvP, and put more of an emphasis on PvE.
-In terms of rifting, the homeland defense bonus above basically kills rifting. The abyss is basically deserted as well at the moment due to people grinding in balaurea.
-To cross over into the other faction's territory in balaurea, your race needs to have control of both of the forts on their side of Balaurea to open a portal to Silentera Canyon. From there, you can take several portals that lead to certain areas of the opposing race's territory. If neither race has control of both of their forts, PvP is nonexistant in balaurea.
-Even if you do make it over to the enemy lands, there are quite a number of hero guard patrols roaming, as well as guard shacks that basically block access to a large amount of the map.

As for racial imbalance:
-The level 55+ instance is in silentera canyon, and is required to unlock the final stigma slot. On an imbalanced server, the dominant race can easily prevent the losing race from getting access to the instance, effectively denying them the ability to unlock their final stigma slot and the ability to use the new gold advanced stigmas. On my server (Zikel), the Asmos are severely outnumbered, outgeared, and demoralized to the point where they'll probably never take either of their forts in balaurea unless something big happens to balance the server out.

I think that pretty much sums it up.
